good experience of family stay

not in downtown but easy to take bus into city (free of charge for pubic transport in luxenberg ;-)) very large living room, well equiped kitchen with coffee machine (didn't try cook). huge terrace with good view, a pity weather was too cold to sit outside. parking slot (quite tight) with cost euro 20 per day.

Great location, right next to the bus stop. And all transportation is free in Luxembourg. Large bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. It was great having a washer and dryer. The apartment was very clean.

Not enough toilet paper and toiletries were either empty or only partially full. I was able to ask the cleaning staff for more products. If you are staying at an apartment with a family, you are probably hoping to do some cooking to save money. It would’ve been helpful to have some paper towels, and napkins which are usually available in other apartments that I’ve stayed in while traveling.

If you enjoy being dehumanized, belittled, disrespected, and abused this is a perfect place to stay.

Nothing. I did not get what I booked and paid for, a ground for apartment for me and my dog. I had to carry my 65lbs elderly dog up and down the steal spiral staircase. When I called the property manager he said Booking did not communicate to him about my reservation on the ground floor.

There was no toilet paper, soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the apartment. The trash had not been emptied from the previous guests. When I called about no soap or toilet paper the manager said it was not his problem, it was a problem with the maids and there was nothing he could do about it. He did not offer any assistance and was dismissive of my problems with HIS apartment.

I would not choose to stay here again because of the unpleasant smell and noise at night

Although the hotel does not have a reception, two days before my arrival I received an email with detailed instructions on how to collect the keys. The instructions were very clear, even with photos included, so the check-in process was simple and stress-free. Inside the apartment, there was a printed guide with useful information such as the nearest bus stop (right outside the hotel), nearby grocery stores, and other essentials, which I found very convenient. The apartment itself was well equipped, just as advertised — a washing machine, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, and a kettle. The coffee machine makes really good coffee, and detergent capsules were provided for both the washing machine and the dishwasher. The wardrobe with hangers made it easy to organize my clothes, and upon request, I was promptly given an ironing board and iron. There is also a TV, but I couldn’t watch movies online and all the channels were in French. Luckily, I came to Luxembourg to explore the city, not to watch television, so this wasn’t a problem for me. The location is also quite good in terms of public transport, with two bus stops nearby that take you to the main attractions. Just keep in mind that you may need to change buses if you are traveling outside the city center, for example to Vianden Castle. However, unfortunately, all these advantages were overshadowed by the major disadvantages I described below.

From the very first moment I entered the apartment, I noticed an unpleasant smell, which was also present in the staircase. Unfortunately, it never disappeared throughout my entire stay, despite keeping the windows open day and night. Another disappointment was that, unlike what some reviews mentioned, there was no complimentary bottled water provided in the room. After a long trip, I had to go out to a store immediately, which was quite inconvenient. The same applies to the coffee capsules and tea bags: the quantity is calculated strictly per day of your stay, with no consideration for the fact that I was not traveling alone. The bathroom also left much to be desired. The shower cabin had visible mold, and the shampoo provided was already used — the bottle was more than half empty. Personally, I find it unhygienic to use toiletries that are not new. During the night, I was further disappointed to find someone else’s hair under the pillow, even though the bedding looked clean at first sight. Sleeping was also difficult due to the noise. The hotel is located above a restaurant, whose guests usually leave only around midnight. In addition, the windows face a busy road with constant traffic of cars and buses. Closing the windows did not help, so I would say there is no real soundproofing. If you are a light sleeper, I cannot recommend this place. Not all windows had curtains, and there were no mosquito nets. In addition, there was a large gap under the entrance door to the building, so light (and sometimes noise) constantly came through. Overall, I found the hotel more disappointing than satisfactory. I would not choose to stay here again because of the lack of proper cleanliness, the unpleasant smell, and the very poor sound insulation.

Thinking back, throughout our journey, our stay in Luxemburg was a decent one (a couple of nights)

The location is somewhat convenient (close to bus station), apartment fairly clean and plenty of space (family with 3 kids), usual ikea furniture, but clean bed sheets and towels. There is a nice restaurant at ground floor.

For an apartment that large, there was a single bathroom, which for a family with kids, was a bit challenging. The view of the apartment was on a back hill and a garage. Also, we have been told to park our car in the inner courtyard and at check out to pay 40 EUR (unofficially, of course).

A lovely break in a beautiful apartment in a beautiful city

Location on the but route into town. The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated and well equipped

It was very hot but we were there in unusually warm weather. A couple of things needed fixing like the toilet door handle and the tv but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay in the apartment.

Big apartment in great location with spacious terrace

Big apartment in a great location. The bus stop is directly in front of the apartment from which you can take a lot of bus lines towards the city, the Domeldange train station is also within walking distance. The vacation home is directed away from the street, so the traffic noise was barely noticably (ground floor apartment). Our apartment had a really big terrace and each room had a door towards the terrace, which was nice, but there was with very little outdoor furniture unfortunately. The bathroom included a washer-dryer machine. The kitchen and living room area was really spacious, but again with rather little furnishing and a small flatscreen tv. The host was very quick to response to our requests of replacing a piece of equipment.

The apartment is really big but there is rather little furnishing, the tv was a bit small for the big couch and room (also some kind of sound system would be nice). The big terrace is great but we would have loved if there was some sort of sun beds or comfortable outdoor chairs. The ground apartment is close to the staircase, and some other residents were rather loud with their luggage on the stairs. Not necessarily something the host can change but the neighbour has a pair of roosters that will crow at 6.30am, so that is something to be prepared for.

Stunning apartment, gutted I only stayed for one night. Keep in mind parking is pretty tricky, if you have a big car you may want to find somewhere else to park

Loved the place and the location, perfect for what we needed!

Loved this place. The rooms and facilities were excellent, the space was perfect for what we needed and the location was so handy being just outside a bus stop which takes you into town in 10 minutes and to the airport in 15minutes (all for free!).

The parking was secure. It was very tight in the car park, getting in and out so it does take some manoeuvring, particularly if you have a big car, but we made it work.

Location is good, but not ideal (not close to train stations and/or (faster running) tram stops, though there is a bus stop in front of the hotel) Entry to the parking is really narrow and possible with only a few centimeters margin for your car (however, staff warns you about this in advance) The living room is spacious, but in the evening a bit 'dark', even with the (rather weak) lights on Also, for the price a bigger TV or at least a smart TV would be justified All in all this is a very good, spacious and clean place to stay, but it is not exceptional yet, as in terms of price-quality balance it may not be the best deal you'll find (especially when you travel outside summer and the big, nice terrace is of little use to you), especially since parking costs extra on top of the already stiff price compared to other appartments of this size and comfort in Luxemburg

The apartment was comfortable,clean and warm, exactly what I was looking for, somewhere to relax in the evening while being able to cook for myself. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Great public transport right outside the door. Couldn't have asked for much more else. Very happy overall
