The apartments at Résidence du Lys-Perrin are a great place to base for a stay in Luxembourg.

We were visiting Luxembourg to see a film made by some friends and decided to extend our stay for a couple of days to explore Luxembourg. The Résidence du Lys-Perrin apartments are well placed for access to the main city centre and the train station. It was very easy to travel there from the airport direct by tram with a short walk from the tram stop. The area is residential so it's quiet and relaxing. There are a couple of restaurants and bars within five minutes walk and a large Monoprix about fifteen minutes walk. The apartment block is super new so everything is really fresh and modern. Initial access is by wifi link to the front entrance so it is necessary to have a good connection on your cellphone - once inside, you get a key fob in your apartment. The communal areas are bright and clean with useful information brochures about Luxembourg left on every floor. The apartment itself is very well laid out with a lot of amenities packed into a small space. The bathroom is a good size and the walk-in shower is really good with nice soap products and fluffy towels. In the kitchen area there is a good size fridge and a kitchen counter which has a Nespresso machine for coffee plus 2-ring hob, kettle & microwave (which we didn't use). The kitchen is fully equipped with a comprehensive set of crockery and utensils and the compact dishwasher was really useful! The bedroom was very small but had a lot of storage space and the bed was super comfortable with crisp bed linen. The living area was a good size with small dining table and comfortable sofa, a large screen TV with internet connection and big windows that gave the room plenty of light. The heating was easy to adjust and warm as we were staying during a period of very cold weather - a welcome treat at the end of a busy day touring the area!

There is nothing we didn't like about our stay, the apartment is great! It is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The location is great for exploring both the city and the wider country. However, there are a few things we thought could improve the apartment - especially if you are planning a longer stay: - It would be great to have another lamp (floor standing or on a side table) next to the sofa for reading and ambient lighting. - Coat hooks by the entrance door would be useful for outdoor coats, especially if you've been out in the rain and need somewhere to hang them. - a hook in the bathroom for a dressing gown/nightshirt would be good - we missed having a power socket by the dining table which wasn't a problem but we could see it being useful if you were using a laptop at the table - the closest power socket was at the other end of the room But these a small things and didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the apartment!

The apartment and the property building are very new The apartment was clean and had all the necessary items people need for a short stay in Lux city

My only suggestion would be to provide a shower curtain for the shower so the bathroom doesn’t get flooded with water

Excellent place to stay for a weekend break

Room was quiet, clean and well located between the city centre and the station. The tram line was a short walk away and the staff were excellent

Modern and stylish apartment in the central location

Brand new, very modern and stylish apartment equipped with everything one may need during their stay. The check-in is completely contactless and may be a little tricky (I couldn't check-in via the site, but the staff opened the door for me remotely). The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood but literally minutes of walk to the transport, shops and cafes; all central points of interest are 15-20 minutes away. This is the first time I give a 10 to any accomodation on Booking because I'm really impressed of it's cleanliness, quality and design.

Comfortable, fully equipped and central located.

Very comfortable and modern apartment. It had fully equipped kitchen, its spacious, it’s located near the city center, nearby you can find very nice restaurants and coffee places. Everything was clean. It smells good. The contact with the staff was very easy and check in was fully remote. There is free parking which is very convenient.

There was nothing that we wouldn’t like. Strongly recommend!

It worked, but not great, and wouldn’t book again.

The property was clean, really nice layout, and the building was very new. Nice that it’s dog friendly.

The building didn’t have parking, was not in the nicest area, the doors didn’t work for my multiple-room bookings, the building has SO much noise, and the bed was not comfortable.

The sofa looked good but was impractical and quite uncomfortable.

No oven or microwave, so not really suitable for cooking. Bedroom small with access from only one side of the bed. Nowhere to hang towels, little shelf space in bathroom and none in bedroom.

Despite shortcomings, loved our ten days there. And the dog loved it too!

Cool design, loved the paint colours and flooring. Level access to excellent balcony. Low bed ideal for me. Within easy walking ( or rolling - I’m a mobility scooter user) of little cafes, buses and trams . Fun to discover automatic blinds ( not common in UK). Sliding doors gave great feeling of space. Excellent shower, controls most useable for me as a disabled person I have ever seen! Remote access from staff very useful when we forgot our key. Easy to park, and if properly timed and use made of free park and ride periods at nearby centre and periods of uncharged street parking, pretty much free.

Overall design: unfortunate to have separate lavatory and wet room compartments, each with a narrow door opening off a narrow corridor. (A single space with wider doorway would have been more accessible). This severely restricted my access to facilities. Property unfinished and snagging not done eg fridge did not work properly ( query whether door was sealing), two bare holes with wires over bed where bedside light fittings should have been ( these were capped promptly when we complained, but still no bedside lights). Bedroom blind obstructed by balcony wall so incomplete closing. Virtually no kitchen equipment eg 3 forks, 1 saucepan, no bread knife or oven gloves; no means of making ice cubes, no microwave ; ( a little more provided when we complained but kitchen still not really functional). No bedside tables. Nowhere to hang outdoor clothes. Nowhere to hang women’s dresses !!! No balcony furniture so couldn’t sit outside.

Location, had everything I needed, good wifi, new, clean.

A few teething problems - missing cover over light fitting, door to laundry room the lock needed fixing. But I'm sure they will sort it as it is brand new. One issue and this happens lots of places - staff talking very loudly outside room doors, annoying when trying to sleep.

The decor was on point, minimalist theme with the perfect lighting. The apartment was also well equipped with almost all you need, from cutlery and pots to hairdryers and dishwashers. Also very private, which is just perfect.

Excellent vegan-friendly stay!

One of the best experiences! The studio was well located to the central railway station. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and ready to use. There was also a dishwasher and the host had provided dishwashing tablets. The bathroom had wonderful vegan toiletries, which was a bonus point.. The living room and the bedroom were nicely and comfortably divided. The host even had column fan for our usage. Overall, a fantastic stay

First of all, guests should have easy and clear access to the apartment

Nothing, except the good location. Getting into the apartment was a truly difficult quest that took us 3 hours!! The App which must be downloaded for the E-key doesn't work. The phone number doesn't answer. The plate on the house with "N15" does not exist. And so on...

- Construction of the building is not finished yet - dust and paint, especially on the ground floor. - The bed is squeezed into a tiny weird room - for 2 persons, nothing to breathe - No microwave in the kitchen, neither salt nor sugar for cooking. Dwelling for 2-3 days, you need to buy whole packages. - There are no hooks or shelves in the bathroom - you have to throw towels and your clothes on the floor.

Access to the building. We were not informed of our room number and had no way of getting into our room. We were fortunate to have accidentally bumped into the manager who could tell us our room number and let us in. This is a serious problem that needs solving. We met other visitors with the same problem

La ubicación. El cuarto de baño: la ducha tenía bastante presión y funcionaba muy bien.

En la cocina faltaba el tostador. En el dormitorio no había ninguna repisa ni nada parecido. Era muy incómodo estirar el edredón por el lado de la pared.

Ablage Ort im Bad fehlt. Jacken konnte man nirgendwo Aufhängen. Das Bett war leider unbequem und machte lauter Geräusche beim drehen. Die Couch sah etwas versifft aus. Auch der Tisch sah nicht danach aus als hätte man ihn von den vor Besuchern gereinigt. Sideboard Staubig. Für das Geld hätte man etwas mehr erwarte können. Unten am Eingang roch es nach Müll da dort auch die kleinen Mülltonnen im Flur standen.

Posto stupendo

L'appartamento è moderno e in una posizione molto strategica, facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi. Letto comodissimo, bagno ampio con doccia con più modalità di lavaggio. Presente un piccolo salottino con pareti mobili per isolare la stanza da letto.

Suggeriamo di migliorare gli optional della cucina poiché spesso ci si dimentica di portarli o di acquistarli (esempio sapone per piatti) e di inserire qualche coperta in più.

Absolument rien (ou peut être la localisation quoique difficile de se garer)

Établissement très sale. Des poils et cheveux sur les murs de la salle de bain et jusqu’au dessus de la porte. Les sols pas lavés. Les étagères de l’armoire complètement poussiéreuses. Aucun entretien !! C’Est tout simplement inadmissible !

Im Flur gibt es keine Garderoben-Haken für Mäntel und Jacken ... nicht so gut Im gesonderten WC-Raum gibt es keine Handtuchhalter und Handtücher...man muss zum Händewaschen immer in das gesonderte Bad nebenan ... nicht so gut

Très bon séjour.

Très bel appartement propre et calme Bien situé proche du centre c est notre deuxième séjour dans cette résidence. Nous avons apprécié les bouteilles d eau offerte merci.

Juste que les chaînes télé ne fonctionnent pas car il ny a pas d antenne juste dommage.
