We really enjoyed our stay overall.

It is set back from the main city and is in the forest region which other great walks

The rooms and inside seemed a bit ‘dated’ in appearance. When accessing the restaurant (which we were informed is separate from the hotel) some of the staff can come across as a bit challenging when requesting drinks etc in the hotel area.

For us, a great base for our first visit to Luxembourg.

Confortable, warm, pleasant setting outside the city but very convenient for free public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Only criticism is that reception is not staffed when restaurant is closed on Wednesday evening. Glad we were not checking in then tho’ system seems fairly clear.

Perfect when travelling with a dog

We were travelling with our dog so the location of this hotel was just perfect, right behind it is a forest with lots of clearly signposted walks , couldn’t have asked for better. Our room was spacious, very clean with a really comfy bed, just what you need after a long drive.

The breakfast was good but Would have liked a hot good option.

Bad hotel for high price.

Bed was horrible. Very thin pillow, springs in the back all night. Just a few hours of sleep. No airco, just a fan from the 80's making a lot of noise. No room update after the 70's/80's.

Location was good and practical, but the rooms were a bit old and too warm.

Location was good, we enjoyed the leafy neighbourhood, and there was easy access to bus.

The rooms looked a bit old (broken or loose fittings, etc.) and were very hot for no apparent reason (heating was off). No charging station for electric car nearby.

Great stay

Amazing location- it has a cute play ground in front of the hotel with a small lake, and just behind starts an amazing forest. With the bus the city centre was 15min away- very easy to use & they are free. breakfast was nice- we loved the croissants. Parking is free for the weekend.

Location is nice! Right outside the city in a quiet area. Receptionist was very friendly. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable.

It was an calm side of luxembourg

No staff, no info, just a mail with code. And they should place a protection by the window against insects. We had many wasps, bees and mosquitos in our room.

Great location to explore Luxembourg and the forest walks are great.

The location was great. The small park outside, the forest behind, the short walk to the regular bus service. Anna was a great rep for the hotel. Very informative.

Some mornings quantity of breakfast was too low - running out of pastries. Would be nice if there was a larger choice.

We had an enjoyable time.

Beautiful setting, most staff very friendly and helpful. One young man carried our suitcase up the stairs. Meals were good.

No lift. No jug or refrigerator in room. One staff member said we had to pay 5 Euro for a bottle of hot water.

Lovely Staff, Great Hotel and Really Nice Food.

We were very close to Luxembourg City, without being right in the middle of it. The hotel is beautiful, and it's location in a suburb was perfect. If you go at the weekend, the parking was free, so that was ideal for us. The staff could not overall have been more helpful if they had tried, and we felt very welcome. The public transport around Luxembourg City was free and there was a bus stop really nearby, it was easy to get into the city and perfect as it meant no driving. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was peaceful, except a loud humming that was coming from somewhere below us. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was amazing, just make sure that you don't order a starter and a main course as the main course was huge 🙂.

The room we were located in had a very loud humming noise on and off all through the night. We think that it was possibly a large commercial fridge/chiller in the Kitchen, but I couldn't be sure as to the source of the noise.

Fab stay, great staff, great food and location.

Lovely place in a picturesque location. Comfortable bed and nice room. Bar and restaurant on site. Food fantastic and lovely staff helped us to translate the menu. Breakfast also good. Parking available but only for 1800 - 0800. Rest of the time it’s 1€/hr

A quiet hotel with a very nice view and friendly staff. It has a traditional feel and I hope they don't renovate in a modern style. I do recommend.

- Old squeaky bed + mattress + pillows - Old smelly carpet - Noisy extractor fan from the kitchen which you can hear in your room and even feel vibration - No vegetables, greens for breakfast - Ceiling lighting is 10 Watts or so - generates almost no light and is useless

Exceptional

We had an amazing experience in this hotel. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was amazing, the room was very comfortable with a good heater for the winter and it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen! It is situated in a calm place, a bit far from the city center but has a good bus connection only a 6 minute walk apart. To sum up, our stay was very comfortable and we definetly recommend the Hotel Sieweburen if you want to visit Luxembourg.
