The Hostellerie’s Chef’s Table Michelin Star Restaurant is exquisite. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The location is rather quiet, yet central. If you come by car, you can easily explore Luxembourg further, either the city or head ‘into the wild’.

Immaculate, in every sense of the word

Beautiful hotel, clean, cosy, warm, quiet, easy access to the city centre

Good location, staff were friendly and helpful, specially since we took the trip as a surprise, it was a spur of the moment trip, and they were very accommodating in keeping out bags as the room wasn't ready when we arrive. The look of the hotel, was nice and Staff 10/10
*Room wasn't very clean, dust under the bed and on lamps, rubbish next to the side table in a gap.
*Beds were 2 beds to create 1 and could feel the indent in the middle, that was kind of disappointing.
*Internet speed, although says high, it kept lagging, and lacked connection.

Although it said no parking, parking was available in the area.
Staff members aren’t making efforts to support a pleasant stay. For the 2 dogs I paid €40 per night without any additional services so it felt like a punishment. In 4 nights no clean towels and we skipped the house keeping for privacy reasons. The suite I booked was very expensive and incredibly inconvenient with climbing 5 stairs to get to the room or going outside. The breakfast was overcharged for the quality received and we fully paid in advance and were still forced to pay for a fee in case of damage… we did not get it back after checking out because it was weekend, how stupid can it be!

The property is located close to the city centre and within walkable distance of train and bus stops. Clean and modern room in an annex across the road from the main building. Helpful and friendly reception staff. Basic room rate low when compared with other hotel accommodation in Luxembourg City and surroundings. The windows provided effective insulation from noise from maintenance work on the nearby railway line.
Box-like room with very limited space, but that was to be expected for a basic room. We decided not to use the water glasses provided with the complimentary water as they were not clean. The room was stuffy when the windows were closed. The area in which the hotel is located is somewhat run-down and there is a large amount of construction/renovation work underway, although that is not the fault of the hotel.

The room was clean and it had bathtub. Not bad breakfast with different various of threats. Separate kitchen with possibility to heat, store and eat. Peaceful landscape.
Bathroom and bedroom are not separated with a wall. It makes some inconveniences for living, if you live not alone. Also you don’t feel that you are in private room in bathroom because of the windows there. There is not curtain in bathroom and there is no handrails to hold on to. No slippers.

The location is convenient.
The room looked unclean and was smelling of damp. I did not expect at all this situation. I stayed at HDG one year ago and was not confronted to uncleanliness.

Location and breakfast was pretty good. Location is very close to train station Dommeldange which is a 5min walk. You can park you'r car there for free. Also traveling by train to Luxemburg central station is totally free, all public transport is. It takes only 10min by train to Luxemburg central station and then 8 minutes by tram to city centre. We absolutely enjoyed our time in the centre of Luxemburg, beautiful city. We where informed upfront that hotel personal on our 2nd day had a annual celebration and that the restaurant would be closed. Unfortunately in the evenings it was also not possible to get a drink, luckily we bought some bottles of water ourselves earlier.
Our room was really disappointing, very small and almost unable to walk because of the angle of the roof. We where also very unpleasant surprised that the room contains an open bathroom whith toilet and bath with shower head. Unfortunately there was no curtain to hold the water spreading while showering in the bath. Because of this water comes on the wooden floor boards and they where already damaged and bended from all the water which came on the floor in the past. At least a curtain would be smart to avoid this. Also going to the toilet in this 2 person room? is absolutely not convenient, no privacy at all, very weird. In all the hotel rooms we stayed our live we never saw this. If you want to use the bathroom privately and you are together one person should stay outside the room. Also it surprised me that during check-in while we paid already full amount for 2 nights online upfront we had to pay a €150 cash deposit?? Yes you get this back during checkout but person at the service desk was assuming to get a tip out of it which was a bit rude.

Room: Stylish, ergonomically thoughtful design, beautiful selection of colours. Plenty of storage space.
Great breakfast with a variety of options in the buffet - met our expectations perfectly and was a good balance with a price of 24 € per person.

Booked months in advance securing an attractive price compared to the current listing. Apparently we also got an upgrade to the superior room, with separate shower and wc areas.
The party in the garden bar area continued until late, but that didn’t interfere with our schedule

It's cozy and calm and the city center is 10minutes away by taxi.
For me personally there are better options closer to the city for the price.

Location for access into Luxembourg City and train links
No AC in the room which faced out towards the terrace. This was very noisy late into the night. Could not open windows only a fan to use. Hotel seems to focus more onto its dining experience and not the stay of guests. A hotel of this standard should have AC in all rooms.

New, clean, comfortable.
Receptionist rather annoyed by our visit. Explained everything without a smallest smile. Friendly welcome? It would be an exaggeration.

We really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. The location a bit away from the city center was perfect for walking the dog - it is close to nature and away from the main crowds. At the same time, the nearby train and bus connections made it easy to reach the city center or head out into the countryside.
The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace, and unfortunately, our room's windows faced directly onto it. On Friday evening, it was quite noisy, and the smell of cigarette smoke drifted into our room. This happened in spring, when there were relatively few people. I can only imagine it might be even more disturbing in the summer when the terrace is fully in use.

Good location, near train and bus stops. Out of town a bit so it is quieter.
Very clean, Friendly staff.
Two well regarded and awarded restaurants are on site.
Lavish breakfast, best enjoyed if it is included in the room price.
The floor we stayed has different levels - one step up and one step down at a time, so watch where you place your feet. The lighting is low.
The kitchen (early morning starts) and restaurant (late diners enjoying the ambience) can be noisy - ear plugs are provided for light sleepers, so the property knows this is an issue. But it is still nice to hear people enjoying themselves rather than shouting, arguing or swearing . . .
The clear glass door to one of the restaurants opens directly onto the bottom of the stairs and is often left open, so you have to be careful you do not walk into it when coming down the stairs.

Breakfast was very expensive, loud street at night.

I’m a frequent guest of Hostellerie since 2019. I really adore the jilted for its unique design, calm location and quality rooms.
It was the first time that I stayed in a room without minibar. I missed it as I wanted to cool water and store some fresh food for my dog.

The size of the room and the bathroom were nice.
The smell of the restaurant (food) in the corridors, the shower box was terrible 9 (water all over), and the hotel is considered 3-4 stars but it is not.

Located close to Luxemburgh city very close +-150 M to a local rail station (tranis are free in Luxemburg). About a 30 minute walk to the city. Quitet and very plesant place to stey with easy acces to Luxemburg. Very friendly and a good restaurant.
Nothing really but, the hotel is in multiple buildings so we needed to cross a road to get to the breakfast (not a big problem!)

Breakfast is a bit poor and room was straight above smoking area, so we kept window closed

Cozy feeling, terrase outside, friendly and accomodative stuff, location being on the round of the city which ensured that one could enjoy the quietness, yet, the the train station being just 2 mints waking distance away made it very easy to commute. Room facilities as described.
Room size was very small-something we didn't pay attention to when making the booking. Bedding sheets could have been taken better care of.

Nice interior, very nice location - minutes away (on foot) from public transport.
The only hotel I have been to, which has an amazing common kitchen with private lockers and a private fridge for every room.
The buffet area was organised in a small space and was often too crowded. The coffee machine had to be cleaned often which resulted in queues that blocks the space around it.
Since my room was facing the backside, overseeing the outdoor restaurant space, it sometimes got noisy late in the evening.

Close to the bus (which is free in Luxembourg)
Booked a double room and got a “small double room” across the road which was the size of a shoe box. If you can fit yourself and luggage at the same time it is a miracle. The breakfast is a buffet with simple items less than ideal for a 4-star stay (you have to boil your own eggs too!). A 1-star in Basel was far better than this. If you can, look for an Airbnb for the same price for a better experience.

The hotel was a really nice building in a nice location with easier access to public transport and the room was very nice and cleaned
there was no air conditioning in the rooms, we were feeling really warm inside the room and not able to sleep comfortably

Everything
The price was 190 euro for one night, which I find quite expensive, though perhaps this is Luxemburg city rates.
