The people here are great. They want your stay to be the best it can be. Mental was the best. Im not sure i soelled hus name right. Loved our room. NOT modern. Felt just right for the city. When i come back, thats where i will stay. So convenient ti everything. Old, but giving the right vibe of history and an older time. Stay there!

Lovely location, all the attractions are in walking distance. The bathrooms were great but the rooms were a bit dated (we stayed there twice during the trip). The breakfast had a lot of choices but lacked personal touches. The staff were friendly.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The hotel room was dated, but comfortable and we had a small balcony with a great view and you could not beat the location .... however, if you are driving and you are dropping off your bags, there is really no where to do that, and we weren't there for literally two minutes and a police car pulled up next to us!

They took an additional £250 "deposit" from me to cover things such as me smoking in the room. They absolutely assured me that this would be refunded to my account as soon as I checked out. Well, that was yesterday and I'm still missing the money. So, if it's not back with me later today I'm calling the police to report a potential fraud. Do NOT stay here.

Public areas were better maintained than bedrooms which were generally tired. Air conditioning would have been appreciated but we were given a fan on request. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice and lovely big mugs. I would have preferred warm crepes than the cold ones on offer but everything else was good.

This location of this hotel is perfect. It's 20 minutes max from the airport and it's on main street for easy taxi access. Just 2 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and many other sites, bars and restaurants. The rooms have an old world charm to them. No air conditioning in the room makes it a little warm for sleeping. But it wasn't too bad with the window open just a little noisy for the street noise and bars until about 1am. Overall a nice experience.

This is an excellent hotel to stay to explore Luxembourg as it is located close to many attractions. The monument of remembrance is located right next to the hotel and you can get great view of it right from your hotel room! The room is spacious and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Many other dining options are available very close to the hotel as well. The hotel is accessible from the Luxembourg central railway station via the free tram, followed by a short walk.

Besides the breakfast, which was excellent, the room had not AC so you had to open the window to get some coolness, but it faced a major thoroughfare that was extremely noisy and then you could not sleep. Location is great though. It is also an old hotel and it shows in the rooms and bathroom.

Be aware that although in a great position for visiting the city it is close to loud music at weekends and whilst it was exceptionally hot during our stay the lack of air con in the rooms led to a very uncomfortable night.

The Grand Hotel Cravat Luxembourg hotel is in a very good location. This has easy access to the restaurants and heart of the town. The staff are very friendly. The room are very clean. The bathroom is massive (half a size of the room). Breakfast is good with variety of choice. The only negative I found was the room was very warm. However after opening the window it was ok. The room I had no external view.

On arrival the manager at the desk was most unfriendly. The bedroom was very tired the bathroom poor the sanitary ware was very old fashioned. He said the hotel was full Over the course of the 3 nights I was there I had difficulty turning taps on and off on both the basin and shower and had to call them on two occasions as the taps had siezed up also the toilet didnt flush particularly well. One night I could not pull the blind down on the balcony windows when I was going to bed - the nightdesk manager came up grumbling as he had to leave the desk he repaired them and implied it was my fault I had breakfast in the hotel only on the first morning - it was such poor quality - for which they charged 27 euros I stayed 3 nights they were well aware the room had problems they should never have allowed anyone to stay in it until it had been renovated I had a very full itinerary in Luxembourg and didnt need all this hassle

I had a really nice stay here. It's close to pretty much everything that you'd like to see, in the city. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The room itself was really nice and cosy, but it was really hot in the room, and the receptionist kindly found me a fan, which really helped. The only downside is regarding being eco-friendly, individually wrapped soap bars aren't the best, and I only stayed there for 2 nights, so it was a waste. Also, the bed was super squeaky and the pillows were very flat. But other than that, I had an enjoyable stay. I would stay there again.

Hotel with history and class, both still papable. Outside of building is boring but very charasmatic inside : I had 2 rooms and both very different with their own admosphere. Great breakfast with impressive choice but also really good quality and lively presentatiion But what made largest impression : very intersting, expressive, helpfull slightly excentric gentleman at reception, very warm friendly and costomer orrientated housekeeping lady and humourfull relaxed and welcoming gentleman in the restaurant. These people made me feel they really cared,that they enjoy their job and that I am a unique indivual to them, not 'yet another' costomer

This place is historic, classy and beautiful. Huge bathroom, loved it. The breakfast we strongly recommend, it was absolutely fantastic. They have a chef on staff, with homemade jams, breads and pastries - along with a bunch of other things I had never had before, but were absolutely amazing. I would go for the breakfast alone. No joke, that good, that beautiful, that amazing. Beautiful location, close to everything. Definitely go for the breakfast!!!

Very disrespectful front desk representatives. I had two issues (dirty tower with female make-up & my black jeans left a black mark on the bed sheets) with my room after check out and the front desk representative tried to take my entire 250 euro deposit! I wasn't happy with the staff service. Very disrespectful to my family and me as if we were immigrants in their country! Parking was a property considering how much the nightly rate for the room We will not return to Luxembourg City! No way! I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, not even my worst enemy!! Thank you!!
