Super staff. All really well trained, friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Shower and bath in room 1 was great. Lots of hot water immediately available. Restaurant evening meal food very good. Substantial portions and tasty. Bed comfortable and linen high quality.
Breakfast disappointing. We went in at 8.15 and the full English components had clearly been on the hot plate for some time. Fried eggs had gone hard. Bacon dried out and the sausage had seen better days. Light switch system in room 1 totally bonkers and impractical.

Well maintained and tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was superb. We really enjoyed dining in the conservatory.
We loved it and will probably go back. It may be that the heating in the wet room wasn’t working I don’t know, but it would have been heaven to be cosy and warm once out of the shower.
