Great stay, perfect for travelling to/around the Tiverton area.

This is a fantastic value-for-money B&B. I risked the on-street parking (which is mentioned as a free-alternative to the £2.50 car park) and parked right outside the property for free (there are parking restrictions during the day, but they do not apply between 6pm and 8am nor on Sundays). The room was bigger than I expected and clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the morning an plenty of good tea. The freshly baked banana bread was delicious too.

A Character guesthouse with good location and a warm welcome.

Very warm & friendly welcome by the host Chris. Location of guesthouse was perfect & a short walk to where I was visiting and there was a good choice for freshly cooked breakfast. Also option to reserve a parking space connected to the property was a huge bonus.

A bit shabby but good value

The location was perfect, right in the centre of town, with a handy parking space. The house looked very festive with Christmas trees and lights. The room was spacious and the bed was extra large and very comfortable. There were veggie options for breakfast. The price was good.

The room and en-suite could do with a make-over, everything is a bit shabby and worn out. The room was really cold, especially at night. Make sure you take slippers and jumpers if you stay in the winter. Breakfast was okay but not outstanding.

Excellent value

The couple were exceptionally helpful... because we arrived late it wasn't a issue for them which was good as traffic delays me terribly.... I have been to some B&Bs only to find I'm unable to get in after a long journey nightmare....but once inside the angel guesthouse it was very warm and cosy bed very comfortable tea facilities in room bonus!!!! Came down to be welcomed by the owner's for the first time since our arrival... and a lovely cooked breakfast what's not to love!!!! Great price especially with breakfast as well....I will be going to stay again 😋 Thankyou.

Would have no hesitation in staying at this quirky bijou B&B again.

The classic 4 poster bed was a great touch. The breakfast was superb, presented well, and with generous portions. Complimentary cakes, homemade, were available at any time. Located within an easy few minutes walk of shops, restaurants, and the town centre, and with convenient private off street parking.

What a bargain!

I was made to feel very welcome by Chris who is a very friendly host. Room was great - never slept in a 4 poster before but it was sublime. Breakfast was great, well prepared with added home made marmalade.

I tried to think of something but could only come up with I prefer my toast after my cooked breakfast not at the same time. That says more about me than the Angel I guess.

I didn’t like the idea of no tea pot and I can’t stand glass cups .i also didn’t realise we had to climb 30 stairs to get to our room,as we are both in our eighties .sadly my husband didn’t do enough research .

Can recommend. Probably one of the nicer places you can stay at in Tiverton.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The whole place was nicely decorated. Check-in was smooth and the owner was very communicative.

It didn't bother us but if you're not one for walking up stairs, then check which floor your room is on because there is no elevator. The owner was very chatty, a little too much for our liking - very inquisitive and not discreet.

How close to the shops etc. The host was very friendly and helpful advising us where was best to eat and drink.

Very tired and dirty. I dropped something down the side of the bed and pulled it out and it was absolutely filthy down there? The carpet looked like it had never been hoovered?? Very dated , which is a shame.

Superb Guesthouse.

Lovely guesthouse in a super location to explore Tiverton. Chris and Sue were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely comfortable bed with a super ensuite. Sadly only had one night on our way to Cornwall. Lovely breakfast too and excellent value for money.

I had to cancel my original booking and they straight away offered me rescheduling. I rebooked for August and they organised a new room for my mum instead of me. She loved it especially the home made sausages. My first ever 5 star review. Well deserved.

Exceptional BnB right in the heart of Tiverton

The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, to order, and delicious. When I had to leave before breakfast on the last day, they packed me a substantial lunch to take. Definitely will stay again and recommend.

Both the hosts were truly lovely. The room was clean and a good size. Car parking to the rear was really helpful. Tiverton is a pretty market town. Breakfast was amazing. The host made me a lovely packed lunch which was fresh and alot better than a supermarket sandwich.Very comfortable bed. Overall, a lovely stay with welcoming, friendly hosts.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Angel Guesthouse in Tiverton! The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the whole place had such a warm, welcoming feel. For the price, it’s an absolute gem. Chris and Sue, the hosts, were genuinely lovely – so friendly and helpful, it felt like staying with old friends. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning – Sue’s homemade sourdough bread was out of this world, and Chris’s perfectly poached eggs set me up for the day. You can really tell they care about every little detail. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Unfortunately as I pointed out to Sue on check out that because I am a big bloke (fat) I could not get into the shower and so that was the only bad thing.
