Very pleasant welcome. Very helpful staff. Parking easy. Breakfast self serve buffet very nice, fresh and hot. Room large and clean. Bar area comfy with plenty of seating. I believe the hotel is due for major referbishment next year which will only make it better

Very good hotel Very good hotel

The hotel in general was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. Our room was comfortable and had every assistance and support necessary for a disabled guest. I would recommend this hotel.

The accessible accommodation was a long way from the general hotel facilities like the bar and restaurant. Although it was on the ground floor it was a long walk with walking sticks through the corridors to get to and from the front desk. However, we did find a shorter way by going outside through a fire door and coming back in the main entrance .

Good value but the whole building needs improvements and updating urgently.

The hotel is due for refurbishment early next year and it does need it. Meanwhile the hotel provides a good place to stay if you need to be in that part of Devon. The beds were comfortable and noise levels low.

The decor is aged but fairly good but the refurbishment will hopefully remedy all the faults. Bathrooms need complete rebuilds, showers rather than baths. A lift would be an advantageous addition. At the moment premium rooms appear unavailable.

A very pleasant place to stay when visiting Tiverton

Room was very spacious with space to work at a desk but also easy chairs for sitting and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent with good towels. The breakfast was fantastic.

The carpet looked a little tired.

Having stayed here on multiple occasions now whilst working in Tiverton, this hotel provided everything you need for a very competitive price. This visit bonus was receiving some guest of the day freebie snacks in the room thank you.

the room and hotel were both good the room was clean enough except the carpet in the hall and the room needs a good airing and clean or better yet an upgrade to a more modern floor like timber or laminate so they give it a good daily clean otherwise it was very good

The bar area was very clean as it has had a refresh staff were friendly the rest of the hotel needs updating. The rooms are large plenty of room windows do not open and no air conditioning the bathroom needs ripping out the bath had chips in it and felt dirty we were not impressed as we paid £105 no breakfast We will not be back till they have spent some money on it

Location, perfect for our visit. Staff and breakfast great.

Hotel a bit dated and in need of a refresh. We had a large superior king room, felt like an old office desk and chair had been placed to fill up a corner. Carpet stained in places. Shower was waterfall only no option for hand held, so bring a shower cap.

The rooms are quite tired but the beds were comfortable. Nice to have a bath and the welcome snacks were lovely.

The walls to the next room are thin and I was awake a lot of the night listening to the person next door coughing and talking. The staff on reception were friendly but in the dining/breakfast room they were a bit offhand.

Felt like I had stepped back in time to a ‘70’s, felt more like a motel than a hotel.

Good location for what I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean.

Rooms were very tired, run down and old fashioned. I asked to be moved from first room as bathroom wasn’t clean. Next room smelt strongly of damp.
