Lovely place and amazing host

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Local guides and discounts in nearby restaurants on meals. Location was central enough to walk into town and see the local area.

Parking during the day, I was working nights while staying here. But Liam did manage to tell me places to park.

Lovely room, lovely hosts, lovely breakfast

Everything was wonderful except for the building work going on across the street which created a lot of noise during the day. As Witherspoon's is just down the road, there was some late night noise but understandable. Can't say enough about how courteous & lovely the hosts were. Thank you

Comfortable beds, warm, great easy WiFi, delicious breakfast, and the best host and hostess ever! Richard and Ling made us feel like best friends. Highly recommend! Also easy walking distance from the train and to the beautiful Tiverton town centre and to Tesco and Lidl. Plus, you can watch swans swim by on the river during breakfast!

The parking is tight in the courtyard at night (have to go through an old stone arch/tunnel to get to it, was too scary for me, but there is easy street parking a short walk away.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

We tried all the options on the breakfast menu during our stay and we enjoyed each and every one of them. The quality of food was exceptional and the service was second to none. We were made to ensure we had plenty of tea or coffee and enough toast, all done with a friendly welcoming service. Ling & Richard were very welcoming on arrival and great hosts throughout our entire stay. We will certainly come back again soon.

My Perfect little guest house

Ling and Richard are very welcome host . Views are amazing and breakfast is always made with attention to detail smoked salmon and scrambled egg 10/10 every time.

If there has to be one thing I am not a fan of nylon shower curtains . I'mPersonally love staying every time I visit my friend . It's perfect for single travellers and business people . Not seen it from a couples point of view but who doesn't love a warm room comfy bed and a hearty breakfast ❤️

Warm Welcome in Tiverton

Breakfast was fabulous and filling and the room very comfortable. The location can't be beat and the view of the river is beautiful. Richard and Ling were the best hosts. They were very accommodating and friendly. We would happily recommend to our family and friends.

Breakfast was great. I had scrambled egg and salmon for a treat but other days cereal and fruit which I have daily at home. Location couldn’t be better! In sight of my birth place and room overlooking the River Exe

A warm and personal welcome from Rich and Ling for our first time in Tiverton!

Compared to our first stay in Newquay, this was amazing and beautiful in detail as well with our room. Very fancy bed. Almost like ones we had seen in a castle/estate haha. Rich took the time to come away from a birthday party to me and my brother, which I did not expect! Thank you Sir! The surrounding area was beautiful and wish we had more time to explore. Thanks to Richard's suggestion of 'Nawab Indian Cuisine' we had the curry in a while and 10% off showing the room key! Would definitely stay again if we are passing through in the future doing our castles/estates!

Nice place to stay, but parking can be an issue.

The hosts were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was adequate and served with a smile by Ling. The room was small, but comfortable. We had a view of the river.

We expected a private parking area, but there is no parking available at the guest house. This required us to move our car several times and pay for parking in a city lot, then move out of that lot after a specified time and find street parking. We were glad that we stayed only 2 nights for that reason.

Everything was great, Ling the owner is extremely nice, friendly and excellent host. We had a lovely room with en suite facilities, Nothing was too much trouble. The location of the property is exceptional for local attractions and facilities.

Weekend stay for a local wedding

The location and what an amazing view towards the river from our room. Our hosts were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent and piping hot also loved the fruit salad.

Was greeted by Ling's beautiful smile and warm welcome - thank you! The food was wonderful. The little room was perfect for a little person like me but may be too small for many. I loved having the window opened and hearing the beautiful church chimes and then watching the river while eating breakfast. Lovely clean bed linen and a very comfortable bed. I look forward to seeing you again.

You had already told me of the parking situation so I was not upset by a little walk to my car. I was more than happy for my little shower but might be too small for some people. You make made great use of the space.

Another exceptional two-night stay with Richard and Ling in their charming guest house. The rooms are clean, comfortable and airy with good facilities, comfortable beds and river views. Breakfast is delicious, with cooked and cold options, including fresh fruit. Guest care is second to none - Richard and Ling could certainly be described as 'superhosts'. I highly recommend Bridge Guest House and look forward to my next stay!

The location was central to everything in the town. Short walk to all shops, pubs, restaurants etc. we stayed during a heatwave and I was so happy our room had windows that opened plus the hosts provided a much needed fan. Also as the property is on the main road the hosts provided ear plugs to cut out the street noise. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. People of Tiverton please keep the noise down when returning home from the pub 😉 (definitely not the hosts fault!).

The only thing I would have liked was somewhere at the property to sit outside. The location right beside the river would be perfect for sitting in the sunshine reading a book. But this isn’t possible so nothing could be done about it.

The breakfast was good quality and very nicely cooked. Owners were lovely and really attentive. Our shower was beyond it's last legs, but was replaced that day. Really good service.

It would have been lovely to sit in the garden - but it was a private area.

I needed a place to stay when visiting my daughter and son-in-law. With breakfast included, Bridge Guest House was exactly what I required. Richard and Ling are attentive hosts and ensure your stay is enjoyable. I would happily stay again.

Parking on site is limited. However, this did not cause any issues.
