Good stay!

Good experience, breakfast was great, the restaurant food was very tasty, elevator was working, check-in/check-out was smooth, staff was friendly, plenty of radiators in the room (even being super cold outside, we didn't had any problems with heating), parking space just outside. No complains!

Average in all aspects but it's not a bad thing if your expectations are not high.

It's a basic hotel so if you don't have crazy expectations you'll be happy with it. The room wasn't huge but it has a big cupboard and a desk and the bathroom is really big. Just maybe clean a little better behind some corners. The breakfast was included in the room and even though it is also very average it is a good additional value especially because around there we haven't seen any place for a quick bite, so it's good to have something to eat before you go out. The staff was polite and attentive more than I expected them to be in a remote place with people probably not so used to foreigners. A bit far from valkenburg the place we wanted to visit but there's transport or you can walk it in half an hour. Overall a solid 8 maybe I wouldn't come back just because I'd try to book something closer to valkenburg next time but if you need to be around there go for it. Only be mindful there's no staff overnight even though you are provided with an emergency number in case something happens. We were there just one night and it was quite peaceful with nothing to complain about.

It looks nice on the outside. Breakfast was nice.

The floor of the room looked dirty, there was a hair in the shower which was not ours. The shower and bathroom are very small and uncomfortable. The beds were very uncomfortable and felt as if the springs could pop out at any moment. The bar should have been open until 23:00hrs and we were asked to leave at 22:00hrs already.

Location and shuttle to Maastricht (shuttle driver friendly).

There is old and quaint…but this was old and in disrepair. Frayed and bleached stained carpet in room. Broken towel bar, no tissues. Beds were awful - no support (old)and ended up laying in U-shape. We felt “bites” at night from the sheets. (Although didn’t see any insects). Housekeeping and reception staff not friendly. View of property outside breakfast room was in need of weeding/cutting - missed opportunity to create something to look at outside.

Absolutely nothing

Place looked worn out carpets so dark and dirty. Bathroom had no place for toiletries. So basic and price was disgusting. Just got bill for 468 pounds 9p for 3 nights. Absolute robbery. Breakfast rubbish. No tea making facilities could have got a much better hotel for that price. Can not recommend this hotel. Everything closes around 2200hrs.

Fora short stay in the region of Valkenburg this hotel is worth trying.

Breakfast was good with enough choice. Not terribly expensive. Plenty of parking space and the hotel had bicycles to rent.

Beds are okay but not very comfortable. The rooms are a bit noisy and hot in the Summer. Small bathroom without ventilation.

Great for a short stay with family, very kind staff.

We liked the very big apartment, though it could need an AC, because outside temperatures were very high that night. Breakfast was of a high quality, Staff was very helpful. They do have 2 EV charging ports. The apartments was very clean too.

Because of the heat we opened the windows, but an almost constant noise of probably an AC unit for the hotel was humming most of the time. the (Ecotap) EV charging station was not functional (though I don't think it's the responsibility of the hotel)

We were in Apartment 10 in early December. Near freezing outside. The overwhelming issue, which spoiled our stay, was the cold temperatures in the rooms. The heating was inadequate, the bathroom radiator didn't work at all. So we were very cold and had to pile blankets on top of the beds to keep warm. Also the single bathroom is off bedroom 1, so anyone in bedroom 2 has to disturb bedroom 1 occupants to use it. The wc is possibly the world's smallest.

This hotel has to be closed for renovation

Very bad hotel because: dirty room (dust on the very old floor), broken window, ragged curtains, very old fashioned and very small bathroom, not clean also with a plastic very old showerdoor. Wallpainting falling down and very small corridors with no evacuationplan in case of fire. THIS HOTEL CANNOT BE USED ANYMORE, IT HAS TO BE RENOVATED COMPLETELY!

First room had bits falling off the walls and holes in the carpet,. Second room smelled of raw sewage and had holes in the base of the shower. Nothing matches the photos on website. There were apparently no other rooms available. WiFi connection but no internet so useless. Food in the restaurant not what is described on the menu. Instead of a double bed two singles on uneven legs listing into each other Complaints given to the reception on arrival not communicated to the morning staff. Indifference to the complaints not just from myself but other guests as to the seeming fraud about the room description versus reality, and they had the fall to charge me the tax twice and a 30 euro surcharge for having a dog (that was injured by the bits falling off the walls and for which they didn't even apologize)

A one night stay to rest your head

A small town, unique Hotel. Room was your normal size. Beds was very comfortable. Beautiful bar and dining areas. A good place to rest your head for the night.

Need to remember, the building is over a hundred years old. Getting to your room was interesting. Needed to go up one flight of stairs, then down a flight of stairs, just to get to our room on the second floor. Weird. Bathrooms was very small. No air condition, need to leave the window open for the night. The morning dew smell was not appreciated.

The room was extremely disappointing, bed broken, paint peeling and seems stuck in 80s. Under the bed it was dirty and breakfast was disappointing the choice looks small because of the big breakfast hall.

Little hotel in little charming town

There was a water bottle from a previous guest under our bed, spider webs in the shower cabin, and non-functional soap dispenser in our room. Most importantly - staff did not notify us about the cost of stay for our pet, which ended up on our final bill as 15 euro per night. That info needs to be mentioned when people check in. Dinner (60 euros) per couple that included catfish, veggies, burger and fries was average. The burger was prepared from frozen beef burger, not fresh meat. The staff could have been friendlier.

Location was very nice

To our surprise there was no airconditioning available in the hotel (on one of the warmest days in the year). The manager friendly, quickly and efficiently arranged for a room in the Fletcher Roda JC hotel in Kerkrade.
