A short 5 min walk to old town

Very clean, comfortable and new hotel. We stayed 4 nights and everything was smooth. There’s an elevator so it’s a plus. While there’s no 24/7 front desk, renata was available on WhatsApp if we needed anything.

The dressing table light works on timer and goes off every 10 mins - not sure why it’s programmed this way. Can be hard to find as taxis can’t enter the area but once u locate the hotel, it’s actually in a v convenient location.

Central location, friendly staff, and super clean room. Renata has excellent communication and graciously provided practical local tips for me as first timer in Split. The area is super safe in general and close to major sights.

I am a vegetarian, so I missed having warm breakfast options. However, I was pleased that there was a variety of fruits and plant-based milk. A very good bed, a small balcony with a view of the old town, and cleanliness.

We loved the location. Mia was super nice and very helpful. Gave us restaurant recommendations and told us how to get to the beach by bus.

One of the best in Splits

Well situated property in a quiet region very close to old town. Modern building with lift (plus point!) as compared to other apartment in the neighborhood. We were provided with a lot of stuffs in the rooms just like in a hotel! Great value for money.

Great location with fantastic rooms but its more of an apartment than a hotel

Great location and the rooms were of a very high standard. We were on the top floor with two rooms next to each other, which was great. The views over the town were impressive. Check in was simple.

It's not a hotel, as the reception is unmanned, and there is no communal space to relax and grab a drink or snack. The breakfast was average, with limited options for hot food. We did order some eggs and bacon, however, the eggs were overcooked and the bacon raw.

Lovely place to stay in Split

Comfortable bed, good size room with plenty of space for luggage, refrigerator, near to town centre and very helpful manager and staff. We are on long trip so have a lot of luggage so lift was appreciated

Can’t wait to return to Residence Stein

Perfectly located in the old town in a quiet zone but just metres away from the shops and restaurants. Room was a good size, extremely comfortable and very clean. Renata in reception was wonderful and made sure our stay was wonderful.

Exceptional

Less than 5 mins walk to the inside of the Palace walls. New hotel with only 9 rooms, so modern and very quiet. Saw no one! The hotel is only 6 years old. The key card entry to hotel and rooms is all tap. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Mini fridge, big modern bathroom with rainfall shower head and Molton brown toiletries. There was ample storage space for clothes and cases which was sectioned off from the rest of the room. We had a deluxe room with balcony which had 2 chairs and a small table. View was of inner courtyard. There was also a couch area with another chair and table there as well as a desk and chair. Beds and bedding were super comfortable. Lots of shops, restaurants right in the vicinity of the hotel and the marina area also was less than a 5 min walk. The ac was also excellent. The hotel had an elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely small hotel, superb location, nice staff.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, yet so close to Diocletian Palace/ old town.there are many restaurants (konoba) serving Dalmatian cuisine, coffee shops, ice cream shop. The small hotel (9 rooms) is impeccably clean. The staff is kind and helpful.

It would be nice to have caffeinated coffee in room, not just decaffeinated. It would be highly popular to have a common space available, e.g. the breakfast room or a couple of chairs in the patio area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and modern.

Breakfast was nice, hot and cold food. Location was great, only 5 minutes from the centre, where you could enjoy boat trips in the day and great night life in the evening.

The hotel was down a hill and we could not park outside, we had to park on a side street at the top of the hill, so you could struggle if you have a lot of luggage.

Absolutely fine at Residence Stein

We absolutely loved our short stay at Residence Stine. Our room was large, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, we felt very welcome there. Breakfast in the garden annex was delightful. The building is located in a very short stroll to the main promenade and is very easy to navigate around the cobbled streets.
