Cute hotel in old historic Split.

The hotel was cozy, and I got a good deal on it day-of. I was traveling by myself, and had originally booked a hostel elsewhere in town, but I had fallen ill and needed a night to myself without any roommates. Property was cute, bed was cozy.

Cash-only payment was a bit of a shock. Luckily I had the cash on-hand,

A good experience, with some room for impovement

The property was generally OK, the location was in the historic area of Split, the staff was helpful without shine, but without major flaws as well. It was a generally correct property, but nothing to write home about.

The walls were paper-thin, you could hear everything your neighbours did. The address of the actual property was significantly different from the address posted on booking.com. I had to drag along my luggage on the cobbled streets of old Split from where the taxi dropped me off to the actual location. Not cool.

Nice and warm feeling

The hotel is at the center of Old Town Split . It has a very friendly and welcoming staff ( esspecialy Anna ) . I would recommend . The rooms were nice and well decorated ( nice bathroom also ) .

No WiFi for 4 days. 1 keycard per room

It’s clean and central

No wifi for 4 days. Staff knows and very politly does nothing. If I had tu guess previous guests also had no wifi. Only 1 keycard for a couple (2people). It’s not the 1950’s anymore. We both can do things separately sometimes. Morning run or shopping, Beach or ice-cream or just be alone. Even when requesting they refused a second card. The Young man is unhelpfull.

Cute Place Great Location, Could Use Better Wifi and Check-In Procedures

The location and staff are great.

Parking was a hassle without a SIM card or data. The staff will try to meet you at the garage and overall the process relies heavily on being connected in real time over WhatsApp. Some clearer instructions could help guests find parking and arrive with more autonomy. Similarly, nobody was there when we arrived because they were waiting for us at the garage. Helpful girl. Nice girl. Bad process for those travelling without data. There was a musty smell in our room and the WiFi just alright. The connection was not strong enough to support video calling.

Historic hotel. Great location for old town

Location good for old town access. Ina ( not sure of spelling) was extremely helpful during our stay. Breakfast was adequate but could have been better presented. The room was comfortable and quiet. Overall I quite enjoyed my stay.

The stairs to the second floor in the building opposite reception were dangerous in that they did not have a hand rail for a large proportion of them. To see some of the staff sitting outside the building smoking was most unprofessional.

Annoying and Unpleasant

The location was good.

As you approach the hotel from the north, you come to 2 doors with the name of the hotel emblazoned on the doors. The doors are locked. There is a doorbell that no one answers. They seem to be the only doors. There is what looks like a cafe next door to the hotel, with no markings whatever. The doors that do not open have the name of the hotel on them. The actual entrance doors are unmarked. Brilliant. They send you an email saying that you must pay in cash only, no credit cards, so you will run around to get lots of cash before you come to the hotel. When you get there, they say "what credit card do you want to use?". Brilliant.

Great once we got in!

Room was lovely, comfortable bed, clean, good location in the old town. Staff were great when there, really friendly and happy to give recommendations etc for the area

Unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes to access the room when we arrived. Not the end of the world as there was space to wait outside and the weather was good but a little frustrating given I had been in contact about arrival time throughout the day. If the reception isn't manned at all times, the host should think about contactless check in for the rooms by way of keybox with code or similar.

charming, comfortable and friendly.

The location is perfect, far enough back from the main Marina to be quiet at night but only a 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. Rooms are beautifully rustic and in keeping with the area, staff went above and beyond, extremely friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was comfortable and well equipped and conveniently located.

1. It did not take credit cards. Fortunately I had cash but I have never before stayed in a hotel that didn't take credit cards. 2. The room was up two flights of stairs. Fortunately staff helped with my bags but she needed to leave her desk to do so. 3. I love that the room helps the environment by turning off lights when I'm not there, but it also turns off the outlets, which makes it difficult to charge my electronics.

Superb

Very nice and quiet place in the old town. The city center is 10 minutes on foot. Small but very clean and comfortable room in an old building. Couldn't enjoy breakfast as it was necessary to leave very early. The hostess very much insisted that I at least take a lunch box.

I absolutely adored this hotel, I booked it to treat myself at the end of a long trip staying in hostels and it was pure *chefs kiss* haha. The woman checking me in was so kind and helpful, providing me with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Split. Also, my room was upgraded for free! The room was luxurious and pristine, it was so clean and everything seems to be brand new. I loved that it was modern but yet has the stone walls that give it so much charm. So much attention was paid to the decor, such as the cool chandelier and the hand painted baseboards. The bed was so comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The location is perfect; only about a 5 minute walk to the action but the neighbourhood itself is quiet and peaceful. I will absolutely be returning on my next trip!

Coffee from machine you have at breakfast is not good. For better one you had to pay about 1 euro. Additionally very low number of tea flavors to choose. Breakfast was good but the same every day. So if you stay longer, you may be bored with that. I think owner can save money just serving the same products but guests take what they want.
