Great for families staying in Split

This was a lovely place to stay in Split for families. The apartment was large and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to cook and enjoy our dinner on the lovely patio. Location was also excellent, walking distance to the center of town but quiet.

Excellent location, full of charm, with great service property

Very well located property outside the craziness of Split palace town while still a few minutes by foot to it. The manager was very helpful by allowing us to check in earlier, pointing us to less touristy restaurants.

Brilliant, can't recommend enough

Fantastic host, Marijana really couldn't do enough, truly a wonderful host. The location could not be better, 5 minutes and you're in the middle of the old town, lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. I'd recommend this accommodation to my friends and family instantly. Brilliant 6 nights.

A little haven .

Marijana made us feel very welcome and was very helpful with everything. Breakfast was a bonus and the garden was an oasis of peace and quiet .

Fantastic apartment within walking distance to everything!

Great location, easy walk into the port, Diocletian's Palace and out to the beaches of Mt Marjan in the photos too. Restaurants everywhere, convenience stores and cafes too. Room was spacious and clean, very comfortable with good AC and even a few things in the fridge for convenience. Definitely recommend

Fantastic host, gorgeous apartment & excellent location

Marijiana was the best host I’ve ever met, she made our holiday such a lovely experience. Our apartment was fantastic- sea views from our balcony were gorgeous. Apartments are located 2 minutes walk from the old town but still really quiet. We loved the building - traditional & quaint. We would highly recommend Zephyrus apartments.

It was really hot when we were there so some sort a shade on the balcony would have been helpful - canopy or umbrella.

Best Place in Split!

The host was so amazing - definitely the best service we have received in Europe so far. The location of the place is a perfect short walk to the main area but just enough to be more quiet. The bed was perfect as well as all the amenities. I would 100% recommendation.

Excellent property, wonderful location and a great host.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. It was very clean and charmingly decorated. The location was excellent . Most importantly, the host, Mariann, was very helpful and responsive. We loved it and hope to be back.

There was a very minor issue with the lock of our room but it was quickly taken care of and our stay wa wonderful.

Incredibly relaxing stay in a great area

Wonderful location and the rooms were absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the courtyard to meet with our group and Marijana was a wonderful host! We loved sitting outside in the patio and watching g the birds in the morning before we started our day.

Fabulous stay. Will definitely return

We loved the plant filled courtyard where we could gather together for a glass of wine. Our room was situated at the top of the house with the most stunning views. It was so lovely to look out in the morning and watch the birds flying over the rooftops. Marijana was such a wonderful hostess. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her, she was so kind and even made us a delicious cake on my husband's birthday.

Perfect accommodation

We stayed for 2 nights and would highly recommend - great location for exploring Split whilst also being really quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed breakfast in the pretty courtyard garden. The room was very clean and comfortable with great air con. Marijana the host was really kind and helpful - thank you!

It was close to the old city and had a lovely balcony for meals

Difficult to reach by car but once we dropped our bags we were fine. The just was also very helpful with meeting us where we could not take the car

Great place and great host!

Love the location, which allowed us the chance to meander through the atmospheric alleys and passageways on the way to the old city. It was also a decent distance from Marjan Hill where there were great views of the coast and the sea. The room was clean, cosy and attractively fitted out. And returning to a relaxing courtyard was a welcome sight after the frenetic energy of the old town. On the whole, a complete package with the juice in the fridge being a pleasant surprise. We had quite a bit of laundry having moved around in parts of Croatia before Split and Marijana helped to get our clothes dry so that freed us for more sight-seeing. Also appreciate that she gave clear instructions on how to get to the property and came to meet us halfway.

We tried hard to close the shower door but still found water pooling outside the cubicle.

Gem in Split

Everything was perfect and could not fault anything! Antonija was phenomenal, so personable and helpful - a real asset! After 6 weeks of travel having access to a washing machine was a so good and the room was spotlessly clean. It was location, location but the huge bonus was the terrace/courtyard, so wonderful to be able to sit outside under the trees and just take a deep breath and relax after some big days of sightseeing. Loved Split and Zephyrus and Antonija were the sublime icing on the cake!

We liked everything! The host, Antonia, is the heart of this place. She really cares for the guests, gave us great information about Split, helped us with any questions and made us feel very welcomed. Since she is a native English speaker as well as fluent in Croatian, communication was easy and enhanced our experience of Split. The location is perfect, a short walk to all the sights and restaurants but outside the busy tourist areas. We had a nice view of the town and harbour from our apartment and balcony. The apartment was super clean, towels were changed every 3 days. It has everything needed, is nicely decorated and the kitchen is well appointed. I don’t think you can find a better place in the old part of Split!!

it was a very comfortable apartment and close enough to be a very easy walk to the Palace and the water. I loved the view over the rooftops to the water from the balcony - we were in the one bedroom apartment - unit 5.

I didn’t mind the stairs but if mobility is an issue for you then this property would not be right for you.

In the Heart of Old Town Split

I thought Antonia, our hostess was amazing and I loved our conversations. There were some breakfast items in the fridge, like yogurt, juice and bottled water when I arrived - that was nice and handy as I arrived after 8 pm. She helped me carry my bags to my room which was great - because THEY were heavy and there were some stairs to maneuver. She also arranged for a bicycle rickshaw to take me to the bus depot when I was leaving and that was super helpful.

I think next time I would picked a location closer to the water or with a view. I believe there were rooms with a view but they weren't available when I booked. I thought the room needed some renovating as there were areas that I thought perhaps weren't clean but in the end realized that they were just 'worn'. I also did find the rooms a bit on the expensive side compared to the many other places I had stayed during my trip throughout Croatia. I realize that Split is one of the more expensive cities - but compared to even Zagreb I thought the rooms were pricey. I did have a night when I wasn't feeling well and needed a quilt or blanket on top of the light sheet/cover that was on the bed - and that wasn't available - so I bundled up in a sweater and socks. I'm reluctant to say anything negative because I loved the hostess, but I also want to be honest. :)

Antonia made this place, the court yard was gorgeous. lovely wee cobbled street.

The ground floor was quite claustrophobic. it wasn’t close to a road so not ideal if you have physical issues.

Perfect all around

The location was perfect...just outside old Town. There was 3 couples and we all had a unique room with cute kitchens & lots of dishes, pots etc., to make small meals. Everything one would need. We had Room 1, 4 & 6... Room 4 had 2 bedrooms and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Just perfect for the 6 of us to get together for a drink. Antonia is a remarkable manager. I had a medical situation that she assisted with. I don't know what I would have done without her. Can't recommend Zephyrus enough.

Not a dislike whatsoever...just a comment that the loft is adorable and large but I would caution not to book that particular room if you are fairly tall. 😉

Exceptional

Spacious and elegant apartment with super private terrace (room 4). Everything had been though of so, as well as looking stylish, everything about the apartment was super practical. The location was excellent, in a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from the seafront and the centre. Antonia, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful, both with information in advance of our arrival and during our stay. We couldn't have hoped for more.
