Lovely and convenient place to stay

Great location.. not far from the old town and sea front, very quiet in the evenings. The room was nicely equipped with everything we needed.

Passable

The good: aircon - it was the only one in Croatia we had to turn up a few degrees (and that’s a massive plus); bathroom; shower and water pressure; cute balcony; aesthetic of the room; comfy bed; great location.

The bad: communication - we stayed in 6 places while in Croatia and this was the only property that had poor communication. We emailed 2 full days before checkin but didn’t receive any response until 20 minutes after our 3pm checkin time. Most places have a 2pm checkin. As a result we paid for bag storage and by the time we received the message, returned to collect our bags and got to the property it was closer to 4pm than 3, which felt late. Even then, it wasn’t a message with all the details just a number to call when we arrived at the front door of the property, not sure what we would have done if relying on wifi like we have on prior trips. Anyhow, we arrived and called, we’re given a code to enter and needed to stay on the phone to then have another code for a key - quite tricky with our bags in hand, stairs to navigate and sweating up a storm. None of it a big issue but this properly was just well below the standard of all the others we interacted with for ease of communication, access to property, timeliness in responding, helpfulness, and arrival procedure. There was also a stain on the quilt when we got there, a lot of stairs to navigate, and the sloped roof is less practical than we appreciated, I’m 5”1 and I hit my head hard a few times - entirely my fault and we chose the aesthetic. These last few things are trivial and wouldn’t rate a mention if we weren’t feeling agitated by not hearing from the property, communication is really the only negative.

Location is great, pricing is good, very close to the city center and shops and stuff like that. In 20-25 minutes from few main beaches. Everything inside the apartment for cooking. there is also a washing machine, dishwashing machine, medium size fridge.

- this accommodation is placed in the old town very close to supermarkets, pubs, port and fairly close to the beach - the check-in/check-out is very smooth and easy - the room is quiet and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking except a coffee machine

You cannot be more in the center, it is litterally minutes away from everything. The host is especiallly sympathic and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay !

A very nice and new apartment to stay in super close to the old city

The apartment is newly renovated with all new appliances but in an older building near the walls of the old city. It was very comfortable, and the checkin was pretty easy once we got a good phone connection.

I realized after we got there that the photos I had been looking at online when I made the booking where for one of the other units, so really check which one you are reserving before doing so. I thought we were getting the one with the nice balcony. Other than that, the page says it includes Parking which is why I chose this place. However after booking, I was informed by the host that they didn't have any parking and to park in a public lot a few blocks away. One the day we arrived, that lot was full so we had to drive around to find a spot and then lug our suitcases up and down a few hills to arrive.

The room was very clean, modern and spacious, it has clearly been renovated not so long ago with a lot of taste. It is very well located, in a silent property next to the main attractions of Split. The AC works perfectly.

There is no possibility to store the luggage, which is a bit inconvenient. The attention is quite impersonal.

We found sand on the bed. Refrigerator and dish washing machine were not clean, there were food residuals. No parking possible.

Location is a nice 5 min walk from center. The hostess furnished everything one could,need , like utensils. The efficient layout creates a small but practical and pleasant 1BR

Perfect location (quiet but central), balcony, mini-fridge, AC, big bed, very modern and comfortable, easy check-in

The shower handle was almost unusable due to the hard water stream and one pillow had a strong smell of cold cigarettes. Beside a replacement of these 2 things a small trash in the room would be another big plus. Other than that it is a perfect place to explore the city.
