Arrived early toma let us in. Entrance way into building very dirty bin overflowing. Went up to apartment a lot of stairs, stairs very challenging very step and so many. Apartment very nice but thing fell if wall towel holder and toilet holder very loose. Unable to sit on balcony as it had just a table and no chairs. There was supposed to be a welcome gift on arrival but there was nothing in the room. Cleaner had left a bag of rubbish though. Apart from all that bed was very comfortable and the apartment was very central. I would 100% recommend Croatia to all people friendly and country very clean.

Beautiful room with even better view of the port. No problem with check in and the one key card got us into all doors which was convenient. The apartment is steps from the palace and town center. Only challenge was the 4 floor walk up but we were warned so no surprises. Great place and highly recommended.

We completed our 3 night stay at the mis-named “”luxury retreat”; the apartment was not as described. It is not the number level of 9.4 excellent either. There are no amenities or service professionals to provide any service. The room is very basic. The entrance to the apartment building is dirty, with broken glass laying against the wall, and the foyer where you enter is filled with 2 smelly garbage cans. You must climb 90-100 steps (about 4 stories to get to the apartment). The apartment shower tile/grout is full of black mold. There is no place to put your clothing - no closet, no hangars, no racks or wall hooks. The curtains are cheap sheers - no blackout curtains, so makes sleeping difficult as there was light from the harbor all night. The sheets had dark marks on them. see photos. All in all a depressing experience. If we had known in advance that it was a non-serviced apartment, we never would have booked it. Felt like the owners misrepresented the property. It’s neither luxury nor a retreat.

It’s located in the center of central part of town. You can’t get better than that. It has a great view of the sea port. Toma greeted us when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t mind to walk the steps to the 4th floor. That’s very normal for a lot of small hotels in Croatia.

Excellent location. Everything within walking distance. Good clean and quiet. Modern fit out. But not for the infirm. 91 steps, no elevator. Mix up on keys on arrival, but quickly sorted. Managing representative was helpful.

Manager didn’t communicate checkin Details, and didn’t provide security code or password for lockbox before my stay. Because I said I would be leaving a bad and honest review, he sent a male to intimidate and bully me into putting a statement in writing that unless I agreed not to write a negative (honest) review, for me to go elsewhere and stay. I went and reported this to the police, and they said what he was doing was illegal and, to contact them again if required further assistance. The stairs are about 60 in total! Not good for people with heavy bags. Didn’t provide me with a welcome package as advertised

This is a s newly renovated suite (we were in room 2 of 3 in total). The room itself was nice, with the exception that, to us, it smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. The Seaview staff member, Karlo, said that isn't possible and suggested it was the smell of the flooring, but that did not make sense to us. If you aren't very sensitive to cigarette smoke then it might not bother you. The location close to the old town is very convenient and the view of the marina is great. The biggest downside is getting into the suite from the street. There is a common entrance from the street into a kind of common indoor access area for many different units in several buildings. This area had garbage in it and definitely had a smell. From here there was about 8-10 steps up to another locked door to give access to the building. Once in that door, there was a full 3 and 1/2 flights of narrow stairs up to the third locked door that gave access to a vestibule for the 3 Seaview Luxury Retreat suites. Summary: the room is nice, BUT you have to pass through a smelly area with garbage and at least 4 flights of stairs to get to the suites. If you have more than a small amount of luggage, or are not in shape, it is a difficult location to access. For my wife and I, we looked past the smell and we're in decent shape so we looked at the stairs as a bit of daily exercise, but we think it is important that anyone renting one of these units knows what they are getting into before renting.

My wife and I have stayed in dozens of non-hotel properties all across Europe and we have never stayed in a more clean, safe, beautiful apartment. This place was beautifully renovated. The windows are tight and kept out the night-life noise. Air conditioner was clutch. The balcony view is AMAZING. Will absolutely be staying here again next time we visit Split!

The hotel room was as beautiful as the photos. There is no lift, so beware you will have stairs to climb. For me this was worth it. The view is magnificent, right out over the sea and the amazing city center all in one view. The location is perfect, three minute walk to the central promenade along the shore. The manager was extremely friendly, helpful and charming, providing a really warm welcome to Croatia. They even helped set up my U.S. mandated COVID-19 testing with a nurse at the hotel room so I didn’t need to leave the property. There are three separate building and room locks, including an antichambre, so the room felt very secure and I was comfortable leaving valuables without worry. They are also very responsive to messages. I strongly recommend this property and plan on staying here again the next time I return to Split.

Pros: Location! Excellent and ultra friendly service by the staff, Ivan and Mate! Their superb service ALMOST cancelled out the cons but not quite. The room was immaculate and very modern. Loved the large shower room. Cons: Entrance area - dark and unlit. One can fall at night if not careful. Big trash bins right next to the entrance doors make it very unprofessional, unpleasant and uninviting. I’ve never seen anything like that before. It should be a common sense to place the trash bins where they belong, not right inside the entrance area. That was a huge turn off. The walls of the entrance area looked like a war zone. A bit discussing even. Also, the stairways need to be clean and shouldn’t smell bad. The TV in the room didn’t work due to some technical issues. There are many restaurants all around the hotel, but the value and taste were not up to the standard. Too expensive for less than desirable taste and freshness.

Ljubo who welcomed us in the name of the property was the best host you could hope for! Kind and warm, extremly polite and helpful! he gave us wonderful advices for the restaurant, where to park and was here when we arrive but also when we left the place. The apartment has an exquisite view on the city. We just had a slighly problem with the door and the smell at the beginning but they were on it right away very available.

Overall a great property. My only negatives was we received no communication from the property manager about the check in process etc until the day we arrived. This gave me some stress until I received that text. I would certainly recceomend staying here. The location is great, property is clean, good wifi. There are 4 flights of stairs to climb - so that may not be suitable for some. Beware of taxi from the airport - have the property manager arrainge one, we didnt' do this and paid a small fortune.

We had an amazing time here we were lucky enough to have the one room with a balcony which was great to wat h the sunrise every morning and enjoy a glass of wine at every night! The bed is so comfy and massive. Best of all the lovely host Ljubo is very sweet and helpful! We'd definetly stay here again.

Loved this place! Gorgeous view, street accessible so easy to drop off luggage (and not have to drag them through pedestrian only parts of town). International wall sockets. A lot of stairs and be sure to give them a heads up before you arrive so someone is there to meet you.

This is an amazing property. Modern and furnished to a very high standard. Our room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the marina and port. Air conditioning was excellent and the room was cleaned completely every 2-3 days. Location is ideal, on the edge of the Old Town and about 20m from the water's edge, but easy access to all the restaurants, bars and shops. The only slight negatives are the stairs and the balcony is a little small. Stairs - 3 flights and no lift, we are fit, so no problem, but if you struggle with stairs, then avoid - you are likely to go up and down 3 or 4 times a day. Balcony is entirely fit for purpose, but you need to move furniture around to open the shutters. An adequate breakfast was provided (using a voucher) at a restaurant about 50m away. This had sea views, so an excellent way to start the day. The host, Ljubo, was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Take their offer of an airport transfer (250kn), as it is much cheaper than getting a taxi and very competitive with other transfers. Highly recommended. In fact, I suspect that very few rooms in Split are better kept or has the same view, including expensive hotels!!

Towels & bed linen changed midweek. Apartments are on the fourth floor which gives it the great view, no lift.

Lovely stay at a lovely property! Ljubo met us at the apartment and showed us round, he was very helpful and gave us some great tips. The place itself is at the top of several flights of stairs so bear this in mind. However we think the stairs are worth it for the view over the balcony. The room is very comfortable and modern and had all the amenities we could possible need. We would definitely come back here!

It’s a nice room , very clean and almost brand new . Nicely decorated , we had everything we needed . Great location in the center of everything. Note : it’s 3 floor walk up. Families with little kids and carrying stroller will be hard. We will come back and stay again.
