Very nice stay here, enjoyed being near the old town

Great room and the location was very good, even had lockers where I could store my backpack after we checked out which was very helpful.

There were a few dead bugs in the room and mosquitoes.

Spacious apartment with firm beds and 1 bad pillow

The location was up a hill with a pedestrian path of cobblestones leading to it. No problem if you are athletic. The area was quiet and residential, but a block down the hill, there were cafes, restaurants and bars. Very lively just blocks away, so was a good location, but NOT near the ferries. The A/C worked great, but there was a fan which was awesome. No elevators, but again, no problem if you are athletic. Our room was great with a kitchenette we didn't use and was spacious for Europe, except for a small bathroom which is normal.

There were 3 pillows in our room; one for each bed. 1 pillow was good, another was lumpy and hard. The third was a huge hard pillow-like thing crammed into a pillow case that was too small. Folding up clothing and towels would make a better pillow than that. But we didn't notice the terrible pillow until 8:30pm which seemed too late to try to contact anyone. Another odd thing was that Booking.com stated the name as the Garden Apartment Hotel, but that name was not displayed near the front gate nor anywhere else. Which makes me wonder if they aren't paying taxes and don't want the neighbors to know they are renting apartments on booking.com. The TV didn't work, but maybe it could be useful for using a cable to connect it to a device.

Better than I anticipated and absolutely fine for a short stay - location was great

Location was great, not quite as easy to find by car but excellent for getting into split and walking to the beach and Marjan Bedroom good size with space, bed was comfy, shower hot and plenty of towels only stayed one night so not particularly in the room much . A bit dark inside the apartment

Poor communication with owner prior to the stay, he never replied to my emails but on meeting him, he was quite helpful and kindly showed us the apartment and luggage storage options 1 bedroom apartment but description stated 2 bedrooms, however 2nd bedroom was actually 2 single beds in the open plan kitchen room. so no privacy for "2nd bedroom" Main bedroom photos showed 2 single beds but these were made as a double when I had stated we were a group of 4 individuals and not couples 2 bathrooms were basic, but very clean and functional

Great location! Air conditioned, with a kitchen (no stove, but had to cooktops) and fridge. Very friendly staff, great check in experience. Very happy with my stay, would recommend booking!

Fantastic location and view from our private patio. This was our favourite place we stayed in ten weeks in Europe. Everything was so well considered and plenty of space.

Nice apartment but disappointing customer service.

The apartment was clean and well equipped, but not the property we reserved.

When we arrived we were told that the Garden Apartment we had booked was not available and that the only option was the Tomic Rooms. The apartment was smaller than we’d booked, did not have the right configuration of beds for our group, and did not have a sea view from the patio. The gentleman who checked us in, Nikola, gave us two options: cancel and have nowhere to stay, or split up between two properties a 30 minute walk apart. I have received no response to my request for a refund from of the price difference between what we paid for and what we received.

This place is close to town. The parking is on a nearby street and then you walk down hill.

I liked how close it was to the main town and the room felt cozy.

Very big, beautiful and quite apartment! Its terrace is with sea view and place to seat and relax.

Very slow reply from staff on request sent on the system (it came after my arrival in Split thus not useful at all)

Not very happy

Very quiet and a good size studio. Walking distance to the main / center area

I had no wifi during my whole stay. I texted and emailed the owners, every day, and until the last night I did not hear from them. They couldn’t fix it. I had to buy myself extra data to have internet in my phone (20 euros that the owner gave me to compensate that I hadn’t at his place). Very expensive for the time I stayed. Overpriced. And the place had not some basics (I compare it to other apartments/studios I stayed) like kitchen paper.

Lovely last minute stay in a great part of Split

location was excellent for exploring split old town, harbour etc. it was really quiet, dark at night, beds comfortable and shower great. good outdoor sitting area. linen and towels were lovely and clean

Great location and lovely to have outdoor seating area. Arrived on a very hot day and the room was cool and pleasant.

Had cold shower in the morning- not sure if I needed to do something to turn on hot water but since we were leaving at 8.30 am for the airport I didn’t have time to find out.

I would not recommend this place

This is not a hotel. The room was very basic and dated and we didn't stay as we looked for a new apartement to rent and left about an hour after checking in. Waste of time and money.

Short but very nice indeed!

I only stayed a night but it was such a lovely place and location that I wished I could stay longer. My hosts were very kind - I arrived later than expected (10pm) but they made sure I was let in/showed me round. It's a lovely little place. There's a great locals bar just meters away and a few more meters a good and reasonably priced restaurant. I would highly recommend this place.

Extremely dirty hotel room

Nothing. We checked in and checked right back out as our room was filthy and bugs wwre crawling everywhere.

Our room was extremely dirty and there were bugs crawling everywhere. First off, the host walked us in and went over everything in less than 2 minutes and left before we even had a chance to look at the rooms. He did not take our ID to register us as guests which we know that hosts are supposed to do that as it's part of the law in Croatia, however, we didn't even stay as we looked for a new apartment to rent right away and left about an hour after checking in. There was a blood splatter on our cupboard door from a bug, soap scum left on the shower doors, toothpaste (we think) on the bathroom wall by light fixture, spiderwebs all over the rooms and spiders, centipedes and huge black beetle or roach crawling on walls, used bathing suit bottom left in cupboard, microwave door and handle was dirty, room key had dirt and scum all.stuck in the key, the floor was dirty - couldn't even take our shoes off, stains on the bedding and holes in the bedsheet. Definitely don't waste your money to stay here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the first time I have ever had to check right back out of a place because of cleanliness and how disgusting our room was. Thanks, Amanda.
