This is a great place for a special getaway!!

The Service from every single staff member we encountered treated us like royalty.. truly an exceptional experience. I called and booking with Caleb who made sure he found us exactly what I was looking for in a room, and numerous phone calls from me asking about this that, he went above and beyond .. I even received a text message shortly before arriving giving me pictures of where to pull up for the staff to great us at our car and carry our bags to the room. Then the Staff greeted us in our room to give us a personal walk through and let us know how to work remote’s and find restaurants trolley ect. We stayed in the Santa Maria it was very spacious with great views of numerous Saint Augustine attractions, The Fort, Saint George St. The Gates to the City. The room was cooled prior to our arrival .. we never had to adjust, the bed was very comfortable.. two comfortable chairs, mini fridge, ice bucket.. staff brought us ice upon request. Wonderful shared balcony with rocking chairs and table. The Spanish style courtyard with a lovely fountain and live music many tables reserved for hotel guests to enjoy drinks from their wine bar, or your continental breakfast in the am. It was surrounded by quaint little boutique, shops, and an ice cream parlor. This is an experience not just your average hotel. I can’t wait to go back. 5 Big Shiny Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good views, but an uphill hike to get there.

The apartment was situated up a hill just out of the main town centre meaning that there were great views from the balcony overlooking the Old Town and the harbour. The balcony itself was a decent size and was very relaxing. While the apartment was small, it had all you could need for basic food preparation (breakfast or light lunches). We both found the bed to be uncomfortable for us, but that is personal preference. While there we had an issue with the water not getting hot for the shower, but on contacting the host it was rectified. Further up the hill from the apartment is a residential area where it is possible to park, we were able to leave our hire car there during the stay.

The apartment was up quite a steep flight of steps that people with any mobility issues would find difficult. I would not class it as a luxury apartment as it didn't have any real special or luxury features within it.

Great apartment halfway up the hill to Marjan Park, meaning it was quiet, yet accessible to the city

Good location away from the noise of the old town. Very comfortable bed and a great walk in shower. Although the apartment is compact it has everything needed for a short stay to explore the city.

Bathroom with shower was great but one of the toilet seat fixing bolts is broken and needs repair. The windows in the main room are difficult to open and one of the hinges needs replacing. We could open most of the windows after a few attempts.

Couldn't complain anything...such a beautiful room. Great location, close to so many food places, supermarkets and close to a location to get an uber for the beach. Cool rooms, definitely helped after walking up the stairs in the heat. This place was beautiful.

Parking can be very difficult if you are in the car. There is free parking at the top of the hill but you are lucky if you get a spot! If you do don’t move ! The garage parking is very expensive

bathroom and room itself was full of worms, the staff response about that problem was slow and helpless. the bathroom door is damaged by water, doesn't lock and has a gap about 1‚5cm. the sea is not visible from the window, free parking is full and nowhere to park a car.

Good for short stay

The location is quite good for access to the old town of Split, and Marjan - including some more rustic bars and restaurants.- ie. sensibly priced. We arrived quite late - and didn't meet any owner or representative at all - but the instructions for getting access were reasonably straightforward to follow. The apartment is comfortable enough a base for a short stay.

Exceptional

The staff and accomadtion were lovely and we were so thankful for the air con! The accommodation was very clean and just like advertised. Daniella was so helpful and organised our transfer for us. Everything ran smoothly. The cleaner even lent me her brolly when we arrived as the heavens opened.

The only down side was the amount of steps on the hill to walk up to get back to the apartment, especially in the heat but other than that we couldn't fault the place and would recommend 🥰

This was such a beautiful find. Fantastic location within walking distance of town and Marjan hill, gorgeous space, most comfortable bed I've slept on in ages, and a very attentive/responsive/accommodating host. As a solo female traveler, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The shower never warmed up, so I had to take a cold one and it was uncomfortable (but probably healthy).

Lovely rooms in a good location

We had two rooms in this apartment building and both were lovely. It was very comfortable and clean, and having the balcony on the top floor was a bonus, perfect for a morning cup of tea in the sunshine, overlooking Split. The location was great being only a short walk into Split (though it is uphill on the way back - not a problem for us but something to be aware of). Communication with the owner was excellent too.

The property was in a beautiful location, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Split but yet was peaceful at night time which we really liked. View was stunning and the host was fantastic!

Room was in a beautiful location overlooking old town split. Our room was ground floor so no views but a few steps from our door you could see the waterfront. Just be aware you have to walk down the hill and back up about 20 minutes each way to get to and from the water front and old town.

Parking is a little tricky. We recommend just parking by the park nearby before reaching the apartment. There was no parking by the apartment and we made the mistake of driving down the narrow road before being told by a grouchy neighbor that we couldn’t park in the spots there so we had to back carefully up the road and found a spot about 5 minutes walk away by the park.

We really liked the location of the apartment. It has a beautiful view and also very close to city center, at walking distance. Very beautiful apartment also.

We felt that the apartment could've been more clean. The shower area the drainage wasnt good and water took time to go. Also we were staying at the ground floor apartment which has lesser privacy as when you open the door one can see the bed.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with every facility needed for a good stay; a great shower, comfortable bed and air conditioning, which came in handy for the hot weather we experienced. There was even a little kitchenette for making drinks and a fridge.

We didn't, as such, get a meet and greet on arrival. Also, it is a bit of a climb to the apartment if you have cases.

Definitely recommend. The room was nice, good location to the city center only about 5 minutes of walking but it is up the hill so you’ll have to climb some stairs. There is a lot of free parking near the apartment and one parking spot out front if you’re able to get that.
