The guest house is a little tricky to find, & the directions provided relied too much on photos, which I wasn't able to receive. A text backup would be really helpful.
The only place to fill the kettle was from the bathroom tap in the basin, which was quite awkward & not always available. At least there was a plastic jug in the room to assist in filling.

Easy to find, free parking, easy check-in. The room was comfortable with a sink and tea and coffee and we were able to get more milk when asked for some

The guesthouse is close to the Ferry port and the railway station. It is excellent for through passengers. The room and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The staff was helpful and polite.
The arriving of the Ferry should be taken into account at the check in. The last time of the check in was at 10 pm, but the Ferry arrived at 10:40 pm. We weren't informed abut that we could check in in the bar.

Cute set up, liked the decor. Owners were nice in person! Just slow to respond to messages. Place seemed clean!
Couldn't figure out the lock, and they didn't get back to me til morning so slept without a locked door. I was confused by the booking and thought we had a private bathroom, but we didn't. We also booked the King room but it's a Queen or a double. We also asked to store our bags and they said sure but never gave any details on how or where to do so. Also the window was perma-foggy so we couldn't really appreciate the view as much.
