The location is fabulous
However the price paid with breakfast is very high for the quality of the rooms
Outdated no curtains and where blind was it was not blackout
Windows are not double glazed therefore you get all street noise
We had no spoons for tea coffee
The shower did not spray and was filthy
The floor boards everywhere squeaked whether in hall or bedrooms
The bed was clean towels were hard place in process if getting decorated but not bedrooms as yet
Breakfast was poor
Had to pay £10 per night for car to stay in hotel car park this should've included in cost of stay
You cannot check in earlier than 3pm we asked for rooms together got 1 on 3rd floor and 1 on 1st floor even although booked month in advance

My partner and I booked this hotel as it said dog friendly, they charged us £20 for the dog and yet we were not allowed in the room for breakfast and told we had to sit in another room and carry our breakfast through when we entered our room for the first time the glass lamp shade was on the bed, it had fallen off. We took a picture to prove we did not do it and then told receptionist about it, but was not fixed. Altogether we paid £*** for one night, and could not even get a shower as it was a disgrace, mould everywhere windows full of mould and damp. We paid for breakfast but really didn’t want it, if the room was really bad god knows what the kitchen would be like. We asked for a refund for breakfast but they refused. I have stayed in Oban for years and have had never stayed in anything like this before
