The views from the room, very comfortable bed and facilities were clean and nice

Hosts lovely very helpful on where to eat etc Accommodation and room facilities were 5* and room had a fridge which is a bonus and the views were amazing.

Not so good for parking. Also not idea for mobility impaired as no lift and also situated on hill so walking up and down to town could be a challenge for some.

Quiet location but close to the town centre.

Only off street parking. I found a park but imagine it could be challenging at times.

Our hosts were very friendly, location wonderful, lovely house finished/decorated in an outstanding way/attention to detail. Very clean. Loved the makeup remover cloth.

Three things matter to me in particular - in no order 1. The bathroom 2. The bed/mattress for a good night's sleep 3. The breakfast The bathroom was lovely. But what really spoilt our stay was a very uncomfortable mattress (hardly slept) abd whilst we knew items would be left in the fridge for breakfast, what was left was disappointing (and there was no jam or something savoury to go with the croissant. It was a few things from the supermarket none of which we had for breakfast and half of which we left. We expected a bit more care around breakfast eg use local bakery, provide eg some cheese or jam/marmalade and a choice of fruit and possibly cereal in room. For us, very disappointing. We had breakfast in Oban. We appreciate what was on offer might suit other people.
