The only thing I can say ... it was ok..

The location was excellent...

Constant noisy pigeons at the window all day and night.. too many stairs for elderly people . No help with luggage. Reception up 2 flights of stairs and another 2 to the rooms then another 2 to more rooms.. not suitable for disabled person Breakfast was £19 per person far too expensive.

Location was great looking out onto the harbour.Room small with shower cubicle also small but usable .Clean but needs bringing into 21st century.Only thing that is plug sockets with usb ports .

The location of this small hotel just opposite the bus station and a few minutes from the ferry terminal for the Mull ferry can't be beaten. The check-in was smooth and problem free. Excellent

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Old carpet, musty smell, and clutter in the corridors and reception. It is way overpriced for this low standard. Travel South out of Oban and get high quality, excellent service and beautiful views for the same price.

Hotel in name only!

Centrally located for train, ferries, cafes and shops

It might have been called a hotel 100 years ago but it is not today! “Family run Hotel” implies members of the family, staff and service. I knew there wasn’t a lift, but did expect there to be a member of the family or staff to help with luggage. There wasn’t: just the welcoming owner and a cleaner. Guests have to carry / drag their luggage to the third and fourth floors! Internet is available but guests have to pay extra and sign up to a complicated card system to access it. There are signs everywhere telling guests not to bring in food from outside! This was an expensive centrally located bedroom with en-suite and no service.

It was the only room left in town at a price we could afford - otherwise we would not have stayed .

The view from the window was excellent looking out onto the harbour. The sheets were clean and white cotton. Bed was good to sleep on.

The room was small and inundated with moths. Black mould was evident in abundance in the bathroom, and the shower door leaked. The room furniture was old and tatty. Wall paper was hanging in the bedroom and the bathroom. The drinks in the mini fridge were Luke warm. There was old furniture in the hall outside the room and vacuum cleaners and boxes of odds and ends were stored outside the room. Downstairs stuff was stored in a fire exit and a mobility car also blocked access to this fire exit.

A comfortable stay in Oban

With friendly and welcoming staff, this was a perfect location for exploring Oban and I enjoyed my time here. Bed / room was comfortable and clean, and the price was good value for money compared to other central hotels. I would be happy to return again, thanks.

Lovely little hotel in the centre with great staff keep it up

The location couldn't be better only a 2 min walk from the ferry terminal in which I embraced on a lovely trip to isle of coll as a foot passenger and few drinks on the ferry on the way back 🤣🤣 and being next door to a fantastic Indian restaurant and great fish and chip places was excellent, staff were really pleasant as I was on my own no one in the bar he opened it up specially for me and talked to me throughout my drunken ramblings haha but all good. Almost forgot to say a 5 star breakfast if you have it.

That you had to pay extra for WiFi considering the amount I spent for the 5 nights I was there but not worth mentioning as I used hot spot tethering off my phone I have unlimited data so I beat the system 🤣🤣 no parking but because of where it's situated it couldnt really be helped and that's it.

Did it’s job for what I needed and was close to the station

The location was great - really central. As my room was at the back it was quiet.

Just felt in need of a refresh and update although it was clean. No normal breakfast tea bag’s in the room and no one was around at check out to see if I could leave my case for an hour.

Great hotel to get around Oban and the ferry terminal closeby is beneficial for travel between other islands

Location of the hotel is extremely advantageous. The hotel management was very accommodating since we wanted to leave our bags behind after checkout.

There was a constant noise late at night as if there was running water right near one of the walls.
