This guest house was lovely and it was so pretty and homey!

The location, decor and coziness of the house.

We wish there had been a top sheet on the bed instead of just a duvet cover. Sometimes if we get hot at night we like to just have the light sheet over us instead of a heavier duvet. But we found out today that top sheets aren’t common in this area so we understand now and the bed itself was very comfortable.

Charming guest house a quick walk away from shops, water, and Dunollie Castle

The location is fantastic. Parking in Oban isn’t easy, but Dana Villa is near a large lot that is free during the off-season. The room we stayed in was quiet and at the back of the property. It was clear that Edna and family know what they’re doing and want to make sure their guests feel comfortable throughout their stay. I would stay there again if I’m ever lucky enough to get back to Oban.

A home from home.

Price was on a room only basis, but on arrival the host had left chocolate croissants, orange juice and biscuits in our room along with tea/coffee and milk. This was a lovely touch and much appreciated as we were travelling home the next day. Property was clean, well decorated and room was spotless. The host very friendly and warm. Good location for the station and ferry - approx 5-10 min walk.

Perfect location, super comfortable beds, old world charm with modern facilities. Generous drink and snack options in the room. Parking was easy, either on the street or in the nearby lot overnight. Hosts are wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic, relaxing and convenient location.

Clean and tidy. Fan supplied which was appreciated in the hot weather. Biscuits, croissants and juice was a great addition. Superb location both for sight seeing and catching a band in Corran Halls. This place is great value and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. Parking could be an issue as it was an additional charge but this is unavoidable.

This property was hosted by the owners who I believe have been in the business for over 45 years and you could tell- they had thought of literally everything to make a traveller’s stay perfect.

Overnight stay

Small but well furnished room. Had a good night's sleep as bed was very comfortable. Lots of nice touches, biscuits, plenty of tea bags and coffee sachets and bottles of cold water in fridge in reception area. We didn't see the host but her husband was very welcoming.

A gem of a guesthouse

The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable but the most noticeable thing was the added extras eg coffee/tea/biscuits, even a hot water bottle and sewing kit! Chocolate croissants which were very welcome as we had an early start on leaving day. Owner was extremely good at communicating and giving exact instructions on how to check in, and where we could eat etc. A very pleasurable stay:)
