The property outside was lovely but dated inside and good location
The radiator in room didn’t heat properly. Very dusty and noisy at night from other properties. Check in was next door to accommodation. No early access allowed despite the weather being horrendous. Large puddle at entrance of check in and where room was. This meant feet were soaking and room cold and no where to dry. Breakfast poor and dining room cramped

Great location.Clean and comfortable
A little expensive for this b&b Iv stayed it better b&bs for and hotels for a lot less.but I guess it’s because of the location they can put prices up .

The room was not clean and very small. Just could walk past the bed and no room to put luggage. The bed was lumpy. The breakfast wasn't very good. The staff weren't helpful giving information

Location was good, parking nearby was readily available (but you had to pay between 9 and 6). Room was ok.
No staff on site (next door between 4 and 6 for check in only, and then took a lot of time to organise requests like oat milk, decaff coffee or tea). Expensive for what it was. Breakfast was rather limited help yourself continental style. No lift, upstairs rooms.

Close to the centre, walking distance from the harbour and easy to access all the attractions. Lots of food options nearby.
Easy communication with the team.
Firstly was left with wrong keys for the room and it took a while to realise after twisting and turning in the key whole.
Too warm in summers, only a small table fan provided so if you’re travelling with kids this will be a problem.
The rooms are not quiet, there was loud music coming through the whole night which affects sleep.
Beds are not comfy and mattresses just are too soft and you feel like sinking in.
There’s no wifi signal in the round the corner family room, I tried with open doors as well but no luck.
Breakfast is very light and not much options.
Overall very expensive for the price. Not a great value for money.

The rooms were spacious but basic, comfortable beds.
Breakfast was basic, as there is no kitchen from what we could see.

Oban is the perfect tourist place to see and do nice things also good places to eat,the people are friendly to.
Had to leave room for 3 hours in soaking rain for plumming to be done then asked ro move room 2 days prior to leaving asked for £50 compentation host agreed to this but has no given ot at all why did you advertise this property incortectly it was drty broken door, and not value for money she liied to me on several occasions and why was i asked to move 2days before leaving when she said i will try to get something better on the day of arrival it is unfair to yreat guests int his way especially as travel all over Scotland ans why did she agree to give a partial refund i am not happy with this booking and iam not happy with booking .com i will try to contact the scottish tourist board and resolve this matter.

The accommodation was in a central location, the room was warm on arrival and we were able to park our bikes at the back of the building. The continental breakfast was well organised with cereal, toast, various jams and yoghurt in the fridge.
The tops were missing off the taps which made them difficult to turn on and off. We struggled to switch on the bedside lights. The overall impression was a bit outdated/shabby.

Host was extremely helpful and the location was great. Could do with a bit of upgrading but it is advertised as 2 star budget accommodation.

There is nothing positive to say. From the very first moments in the guest house, we felt as though we were a nuisance to the staff. Very unfriendly.
Worst guest house stay ever. As stated, we were not made welcome from the minute we arrived. My partner had asked me if I had the keys, and the person dealing with us interjected rudely and sharply saying, "I'm getting to that." Scrutinised my bank card in front of me as though I was some kind of scammer, very rude. The room was small, heating on full blast and windows heavy to open and wouldn't stay open. We had to jam the window open with our bag. Shouldn't advertise breakfast cos it's not even a continental one,, it was a cereal and toast. I would highly recommend against booking this guest house in fact, I would advise booking.com to remove it from there site.

Location was perfect, we booked a family room with en suite toilet. Comfortable and clean, great breakfast too.
All good. No issues

Great location. The cleaning lady who was new was a really helpful and friendly person, thanks. The continental breakfast and coffee were above average.
Old and tired. The beds were awful. The room was tiny. It was a last minute booking, so we were grateful to find a place a reasonable price, and this place is okay.

Very conveniently located. Large bathroom.
The mattresses were old, lumpy and uncomfortable. The room had an unpleasant smell when we arrived, although after keeping the window open all night and the next day, it was okay. The room and bathroom seemed clean, but the shower had a lot of mold along the inside shower door frame (in fairness, perhaps the cleaners haven’t noticed, because you can only see it from the inside with the shower doors closed). We never saw the owners/hosts at all. All communications were through email. The lady from the hotel next door checked us in. Breakfast was a do-it-yourself affair with packaged or wrapped goods and no one in sight to ask for anything if needed (for example, my coffee cup was dirty but I didn’t know where to get another one, and we wanted warm (not cold) milk for our son but didn’t know how to go about getting that), and we were instructed to just leave our key upon departure. A bit of human contact would’ve been nice.

Breakfast was perfect - I preferred having a light breakfast rather than a heavy full breakfast. The location was quiet which I appreciated.

The location was decent, the town was very walkable from the street it's on.
This was advertised as a hotel, it's not. It's a B&B.
The premises is poorly kitted out, it looks cheap. Examples include the steps down to our room, every time you walked on them the laminate planks were coming up.
The room was clean, but the (laminate material) wardrobe door wouldn't close, beds were uncomfortable, mattresses were soft, cheap with no support.
There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. We made a cup of both tea and coffee, which we couldn't finish, as there was a horrible taste to it. When we checked what the issue was, we found the UHT milk containers were out of date, by up to 15 months!
Breakfast was continental, which is ok, but there was literally nothing fresh available such as some chopped up fruit, or even some in a bowl to grab.
We were spending time in Scotland, and we paid way more for this than for hotels in Glasgow and Ayr that were of a standard way above this. I appreciate the tourist season is short in Oban, but there is no need to treat people like this, a little investment would go a long way and give a better experience.

Proximity to the town centre and the ferry terminal was perfect. Local to shops, pubs, places to eat, sights etc.
Very clean, large comfortable rooms. Easy, friendly check-in.
Continental Breakfast was great just the job. Would stay again.
No negative aspect to the stay, a brief 1 night stop-over.
