Self check in was easy. It is very centrally located and they even send you a message to recommend where to go for breakfast or dinner.

A lovely property which has been recently revamped, great sea views and close to shops etc.

Room was perfect for my needs, with a beautiful view of the sea and within walking distance of shops etc.

Having to share a bathroom and no option for breakfast, but it didn't cause a big problem. I did find it 'different' having no face to face welcome on my arrival (all instructions were received via text) but I guess that's the way things are these days. The only people I saw were the cleaners when I was leaving (who were very friendly).

Lovely quality accommodation in perfect location.

Well appointed room with Quality fittings. Very stormy weather but very cosy inside. No human contact key safe room keys.

We found the location very useful to travel and walk to the town.

Personally, we found the process of check in quite simple, though we both commented on the lack of personality… would have liked to have had some interaction with the host.

It was very close to the town , and parking was excellent.

Everything was perfect apart from the television , which needed to be tuned in , or something as it froze allot . But no problem .

Great location, nice rooms and excellent service.

We booked this accommodation in error, not understanding it was a self-service type property - we were looking for a hotel as we were staying 3 nights. We spoke with the owner who was most understanding. He'd showed us a choice of two rooms and explained the services on offer but understood our reasons for moving on and didn't make any charges. If we were looking for a self catering type of accommodation we'd certainly stay here.

Premises were exceptionally clean and in great decorative order. Great view from the lounge. Idea for town centre and promenade. Great communication from the team.

Room was lovely, well furnished and equipped. Good view from front of house. Excellent communication and instructions for entry.

The upstairs rooms are accessed by a steep and curved staircase. Not a problem for most but difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Looking forward to a return visit

Location within a 5 minute walk to town we didn’t need the car. The room was modern, comfortable, and clean with a large lovely bed . The lounge was also furnished to a high standard

The location was excellent with fantastic view of the harbour. The room was comfortable.

One piece of information that would have been good to know is that the stairs both on the outside and the inside were very steep.

Ten minute walk from town, easy access, comfy and clean. Facilities in the room were great. Peaceful.

Bit of mold around windows and ceiling of the bathroom, but that's really a nothing thing because of the nature of an on-suite. This is a lovely place to stay.

Not Bad, Needs Attention to Maintenance Issues

Room 1 was very clean. Attractively decorated. Amply sized bathroom with shelving. Fairly quiet for its location right next to the entry door, but there weren’t many guests and those using the hotel looked like business people - gone early and quiet in the evening. Easy contactless check in. Location wasn’t bad, short walk into town, particularly if you use the quiet street accessed by a tiny bridge situated on side of building. Large, comfortably furnished lounge on ground floor, with a communal fridge. USB ports on each side of bed.

Every time the entrance door opened our door shook in its frame. The front windows are like large shop display windows, which face directly onto parking lot and busy main road. Zero privacy. They had very nice sheer fabric shades but only one side was working, so we had to use the blackout curtains all the time on half of the windows. I wrote management, they responded promptly, stating that it takes weeks to get them repaired. Funny, in a review five weeks ago a guest mentioned the same issue. Hot water stopped in morning halfway through a shower, ugh. Scent diffusers in room and lobby overpowering, but not everyone would be bothered by that. Lamps at bedside do not work, as many have previously indicated.

Nice, comfortable, clean accommodation, conveniently situated within walking distance of Oban centre

The building was attrractive and well maintained. Lots of parking. Large fridge for guests to use, which I wasn't aware of but was very useful. Lovely view from my window. Very easy walk in to town. Single room was quite small but adequate for my needs. Although I didn't meet any staff, they kept in regular touch by text to check everything was ok. Self-check in was very straightforward - make sure you read your messages to get the codes you need.

I struggled to find it at first. My satnav showed it on the other side of the road than it actually is. It's on a very busy road, so I had to pull on to a side road and ask someone. I don't particularly like sharing bathrooms but it was ok - I was never aware of anyone else using it.

Location was good. Spacious room.

Big picture windows looked on to the road and parking area meant a complete lack of privacy unless the curtains were completely drawn. Totally defeated the purpose of paying extra for the room with a view.

Perfect location to get in and out of easily and good access to town with extremely comfortable room

Great location on edge of town but perfect to walk in and out. Parking onsite a breeze. Great view from room. On main road but when windows were shut could not hear a thing.

Long weekend in Oban

Good location. Quiet, clean accommodation and easy to come & go as you please. Great view of the bay from room 8

Unfortunately, we passed it on the way into Oban & spent almost an hour trying to find it from the town because we were convinced it should have been ' sharp left' as you came on to Dunollie road from the A85. So had to phone the owner, who guided us to the accommodation. And it was very obvious, once you got there!!! But we felt that bit of instruction was misleading & should have said ' sharp left at the bottom' of Dunollie Road just before the roundabout.

Very disappointing

Location & parking. Comfortable bed.

The room was very basic, no drawers, shelves or towel rails. We’ve given a low rate for cleanliness, not because it wasn’t clean when we arrived but we were there for two nights and the room wasn’t serviced. The worst thing was that there was no staff on the premises. We had a problem and called the “ help” number but got no reply. This also happened to another guest.

Loved how clean and modern the property was.plenty of car spaces and loved the lovely lounge area to chill in after going for a walk or a night out.you can come and have something to eat in the lounge area before heading to your room.bed was most comfortable and absolutely spotless
