Pleasant well equipped dining room and comfortable bed

Clean, simple and comfortably in a perfect location and great it had a fridge and dining area plus lounge too

Near and clean - good location for walking into town - our room had an ensuite which was good

Rooms were very close together on the top floor - walls seem a bit thin! Doors slamming a lot with people coming and going

The shower in my room pulsated between scalding hot and cold water. Other guests I spoke to had the same issue .If this is deliberate to achieve shorter showers, all it did was piss me off. If the owners want to save electricity , put solar panels on the roof. I would rather put money in a meter and get a good shower than what was supplied. Water shortage in Scotland is not an issue either! I judge accommodation on how good the shower is. The one I had was borderline dangerous. If the shower was faulty ,it should have been fixed. The shower I had in a Hotel on Mull did the same thing also! The Kitchen had a communal fridge , but no communal freezer. A freezer section would be useful to guests who need to make ice for onward journey to keep their food cold. Suggest provide a freezer and add solar panels if you are too tight to power it.
