I’m really pleased we chose to stay here and would definately stay again.

Friendly welcome, lovely room, clean, comfortable bed, very quiet room. Able to park easily. Nice location with respect to the town - very short walk to restaurants etc but not on a noisy street. It was nice to be able to sit in the garden. Breakfast was excellent.

Good accommodation for what we wanted

Good location. Parking available, which was good. Friendly host. Nice room & comfortable bed.

Disappointed with breakfast as we expected a full cooked Scottish breakfast. It wasn't made clear when booking that it was basically a continental breakfast with boiled eggs. However, all the food served was delicious.

Conveniently located hotel.

Lovely house, ran by a family. Very convenient for the town of Oban, with good road links.

Car park. This property is not ideal for motorbikes as the road to the hotel is a hill and the car park slopes away from the road and is gravel. There is also a camber to get out of the drive.

Lovely old building in a great location, short walk to the town centre and distillery. The breakfast was as good as any we had travelling through Scotland.

Happy to return

Have stayed here before, so know the layout. Handy for getting early morning ferry and they very kindly fixed up a bag for some takeaway breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. Plus also, dog friendly.

The only thing is not having a en en-suite, single room has its own bathroom but you have to go through another door and down a corridor to get to it. Hope I wasn’t disturbing other guests at 5am!

Gem of Oban

Superb 'Period' property close to the vibrant centre of Oban (5 mins walk). Ample parking and rooms finished to a very high standard, something that is matched by the Family owners. Great night's sleep and fantastic breakfast. As goods as B&B gets

June was a wonderful host, and we enjoyed her company. The food was delicious and she offered gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options that were all very tasty.

Ideal central location. Bed & breakfast lovely.

Breakfast was lovely. Made choice night before. Room large enough to accommodate two small dogs (beds). Very central - walk down the hill a short distance and your in central Oban. Bed was a king size - comfortable.

Unfortunately our shower was a dribble in Room 3. Alternately we used Room 4's shower not ideal but adequate. Although the bed was a king (two singles zipped together) - would have preferred a king quilt rather than two single quilts. Extra £ for dogs.

Heatherfield House is delightful. I highly recommend this B&B!

The room was very cosy and well updated for an old property. I enjoyed the garden and the breakfast. Staff was very friendly!

Mine was one of the only rooms with a bathroom down the hall. It was my own private bath and very clean. It was a mild inconvenience and the price of the room was fair.

Overnight Stay in Oban between islands

Very warm friendly welcome to a lovely old house with character and homely touches throughout. Good sized, clean, comfortable and airy room with dual aspect and partial sea view. Bathroom was the most spacious of our 11 night stay across 4 Scottish guest houses and the only one with a bath. Guest house is so conveniently situated near centre of town, just up a hill from the bay, restaurants and shops. After checking out cars can be left if exploring - as long as they're moved by 4pm when next guests arrive. Great chat during a tasty breakfast, advice about area and I noted Marmite and Vegemite on the dresser - a rarity! Stupidly left a couple of garments in wardrobe and Owen.came down with these whilst we were about to leave. So grateful - thank you for looking after us so well 😊 . If we're in Oban again we will return and would certainly highly recommend

Drive access a little tricky if full so be prepared to manoeuvre! May not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties as located on quite a steep, albeit short hill above the town.

This was an adorable B&B to stay in for our honeymoon! Location was absolutely perfect - able to walk to the city center and all the attractions! Breakfast was delicious and the hostess was very helpful in every way possible!

Good to stay for old people but not for young couples or young people

Room was very hot when got there as it was on top floor, plus shower tap was not working in full force. It is not a hotel it is just a b&b.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming.

I was made very welcome even though I arrived quite late. I had been cycling and camping for the previous week so the private bathroom was very welcome and I was able to store my bike in a secure area at the rear of the property. Breakfast was excellent. I’ll be back

Excellent and comfortable stay.

Very comfortable room with large comfy bed and lovely views of Oban Bay from window. Great en-suite with walk-in shower. Breakfast was also excellent with large choice of cereals and cooked breakfast options. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return and highly recommend!
