Very nice hotel in a good location. Very friendly and efficient staff. Bedroom was rather small but cosy and with stunning views.
The bar also had these views and we enjoyed having a pre dinner drink in there.
The restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed the breakfast; it had a lot of different but delicious choice.

The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and attentive. The place was however a distance from the port where the ferry to IONA was . But happy with the hotel.

Free parking overnight and Sunday at public carpark about 300m away
£25/day parking at hotel is unfortunate but they dont have any room
Breakfast service suggestion - put Milk,Cereal,Butter etc on a fixed table to self serve. Even though lots of breakfast staff (smartly dressed) the service was slow and erratic and several items missed. So as long as you're not in a hurry.

Photos of the hotel and facilities looked amazing but we got a room tucked at the very back in a modern concrete block overlooking carpark. I was asked if we could get a sea view but was only offered up sell to a suite by another 150GPB.
There was no carpark available so we had to park in an alley and luggage had to carried up several stairs into the reception and then again few flights of stairs before you reach the lifts so for anyone with reduced mobility this would be a concern.
You have to booked a time for breakfast and you order a la cart which takes long time so also sometimes consider. Breakfast was delicious and generous though the plunger coffee was just a muddy brown water.
Overall I do not think it was worth the money we paid and I am disappointed I haven’t chosen another place to stay in Oban.
