The building was really cool, location was good. Room was very basic but clean. Snacks provided. Very nice.

We had someone open our door during the night, which was pretty disconcerting. Unsure if it was a guest or the owner checking to see if anyone was in the room. =P Overall everything else was good and as you would expect for such a reasonable rate.

Beautiful location, room was fantastic, we really loved the room. Area was quiet and relaxing.

Would be a great place with good value for money if more attention was paid to staffing.

Despite asking for room to be cleaned, it was not and therefore the porridge pot (BREAKFAST!) was not given to us. There was no staff to complain to.

Very clean, big quiet room in an excellent location, within a short walk from the centre of town.

No lift, no staff on site, no facilities for maing food besies a kettle and no breakfast provided apart from instant oats porridge in room. Car park is small and while there is space for more cars, these could easily become blocked in by other guests.

A comfortable, Victorian guesthouse a short walk from Oban's center

A converted Victorian seaside villa with many original features intact which adds to it's charm. Our room had a four-poster bed and wonderful view of Oban Bay, the Sound and Kerrera Island. It is a guest house, so facilities and staff are very limited. Its location is a 15 minute walk from Oban's restaurants and tourist attractions,

A third-floor walk-up with luggage ould be a problem for older travellers.

Nice stay nearby Oban with beautiful view

The hotel was very well located, within walking distance of Oban. There is a common room and also a terrace where you can spend time with a nice view. Room had everything you needed.

The key had been left ready in an envelope. As such, there is nothing wrong with this. This does make that you really don't see anyone at all from the hotel itself

A convenient place for an overnight stay enroute from the Isles, but we wouldn't return.

We arrived late, having crossed by ferry from Colonsay. This was managed well by the hosts and a key was left for us. The room and bathroom, though very small were well-equipped and clean. There was parking space in spite of our late arrival.

The bedroom and bathroom were extremely small. There was a draught from the window, which was not fully stopped by the thick curtain. The hot water didn't seem to reach a good temperature before 7am. We knew breakfast was not provided but had been led to understand that we would be able to find somewhere just a short walk away. The closest place we could find was a 20 minute walk away.

Great value and lovely views.

Beds comfy. Front porch and living room views were lovely. Morning birds were beautiful. Greatly appreciated being able to leave luggage in checkout day until train time. Staff very friendly.

Showers were small, water got warm vs hot. Room had towels for 3, our party had 4 people.
