Lovely views over water , walking distance to town , big room with plenty of amenities

Fridge doesn’t have freezer ( to freeze ice bricks for lunch) . Fresh milk in fridge would have been good for coffee .

Easy parking good location with short walk to Oban.. Didn’t get to meet any of the staff..

No option for breakfast as I think they were updating the dining room

Beds were comfortable. The sitting area in the room overlooking the water with a tea and coffee setup was nice. We got stuck in a major accident adding 4 hours to our arrival time and they were flexible. It’s in a great location to enjoy Oban but not be directly in the heart of town.

There were no present staff at all. This was different and the site wasn’t labeled self-catering. We didn’t understand the double parking of cars and it was challenging to not block in others who may need to leave early on their journey. We made it work but having staff to ask questions or manage the situation would have been nice. The bathroom had a shower that didn’t drain and the shower head would t stay up so my husband found showering challenging at 6’. Also the bathroom had spider webs on the face towel storage so we did worry about the general cleanliness procedures taken. There’s no breakfast but you get a pot of instant porridge if you choose.
