Location; Short walk into the town and ferry terminal. Response from staff to our questions was very good (but see comments below). Comfortable and quiet.
Parking was described as “on site” but there are only essentially four spaces for 17 rooms. If you can’t get a space then you have to park on the street which is hourly parking. The Wifi connection was terrible in our room. Finally, it’s nice to “see a face” but check in is self serve as is check out. You can really only talk to someone through message or telephone which is not always quick or easy

Beautiful bay window overlooking the bay.
Walk up 3 flights of stairs. Parking was bad. I parked on the road and paid at the meter to avoid hassle

Beds were comfortable. The sitting area in the room overlooking the water with a tea and coffee setup was nice. We got stuck in a major accident adding 4 hours to our arrival time and they were flexible.
It’s in a great location to enjoy Oban but not be directly in the heart of town.
There were no present staff at all. This was different and the site wasn’t labeled self-catering. We didn’t understand the double parking of cars and it was challenging to not block in others who may need to leave early on their journey. We made it work but having staff to ask questions or manage the situation would have been nice.
The bathroom had a shower that didn’t drain and the shower head would t stay up so my husband found showering challenging at 6’. Also the bathroom had spider webs on the face towel storage so we did worry about the general cleanliness procedures taken.
There’s no breakfast but you get a pot of instant porridge if you choose.
