I booked as I was going to a wedding reception. I had stayed at Oban Youth Hostel some years ago so knew what good value and how comfortable it is and I wasn’t disappointed this time. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with en suite.
There was a long hair in my bed but that’s my only complaint.

Everything view parking kitchen privacy storage security
When we first arrive the room we were allocated was not cleaned the sink was broken and the plug was missing and the fan broken
The staff were unhelpful until the following day when we were able to be reallocated an appropriate room and everything was correct thank you

Very nice view, very comfy beds, EXCELLENT staff. Crazy value for money, well equipped common spaces. 10 minute walk from train station and main . The staff gave various tourist recommendations and solved a personal issue I had. I couldnt have asked for more
The only thing i can think of is that a pressure in the showers is intense.
