Bit pricey for what u you get.

Good location, room was nice but could only really stay a night due to the windowless situation.

The quality of the room was great and it was very clean. It was unfortunate that the heating wasn't working and we arrived at 8pm and the temp was sitting around 16 degrees and the outside temp was -1. So we arrived cold. I went straight to bed. I turned my phone off so i didn't receive the offer of a change of room until the I turned my phone back on in the night. The customer service staff were exceedingly apologetic and asked that when we book again I call so that a quieter room can be allocated.
There was a continuous over night humming sound above room 4. Sounded like an industrial fridge cooler fan. Don't book unless you are a sound deep sleeper. So I did not sleep much at all sadly. There are no windows to the outside so it this is important to you then not the place for you. I didn't mind as was only staying on an overnight.

Very affordable and close to all amenities.
Strange thing to be picky about but the toilet is really high off the ground. Like legs almost dangling when sitting.

It was really close to the ferry station
There was a horrible damp stench coming from the bathroom which was pretty unbearable all night, and there was no way of letting anyone know about it as there was no reception. There was constant noise either from the restaurant or people coming in and out of the property. The carpets were either covered in mould or stained with black liquid. We expected basic based on price, but this was below the level of acceptable of cleanliness for a budget hotel room.

Check in clever.
Bed very comfortable
Clean
It was a bit noisy at times

Clean, comfortable. Good location
Beds made up on the wrong end, so switching out the light at night difficult. Flashing light on heating unit disturbed sleep (could be why bed was made up in that particular way.

It is small but very convenient for ferry and train, and has all you could need for a one night stay. Clean too. Fish restaurant next door was superb.
Lack of windows but that was explained in the description.

I actually really enjoyed staying at the pier rooms! I booked it as a solo person for a work event. I arrived shortly after 3pm, check in was easy and well explained in the email. Then I had a lovely rainfall shower, was quite happy just getting ready for my evening out, did my hair in the huge mirror, did my makeup, had a coffee, had everything I needed. Once I got back to the hotel the bed was very comfy and the aircon was much appreciated! The room was very warm when I first arrived and I was concerned it was going to be very stuffy but the air corn worked amazingly. The only slight negative is that the bed is very high? I’m 5’7 and it was pretty much up to my hip, needed a running jump!! Alright for younger people but someone older might’ve struggled. Overall I really enjoyed my stay, 10/10 would stay again.
There other guests were quite loud but i guess that’s just luck of the draw. I was totally fine with the self-check in process but I can see how older guests might struggle, same goes for the height of the bed. xD

Good Location
Bathroom not entirely clean, broken fittings in the bathroom, smell in the bathroom

Very strong odour of fish coming from shower trap.
If there had been a member of staff to advise about this I would have asked.

This stay was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable and better than i expected.
a bedside light for reading would of been handy, the big light was great but too bright. the dark of the room and the silence gave me the best sleep ever tho

Not clean

The location was perfect for the ferry and gave the option of just nipping round the corner for food and a drink. The room was all it needed to be - a bed and a shower - liked the added bottles of water etc.

Central location.
Bed really high from floor. Noise from upstairs.

Location. Smart quirky accommodation with all that is needed. Very clean apart from comment below.
Continual noise from above restaurant. Chairs and people moving. Cleaners very audible being in at 5.45am. Very tight but compact accommodation resulting in bed sheet not on properly and empty tablet blister on the carpet.

Very close to the train and bus station, the restaurants and the ferry terminal. Small but it has everything.
No windows (but we knew that)

It's super clean, really comfy bed and good size for just a night or two. Also getting in was really easy as you could just use your phone, really simple too. Good shower and nice TV.
At first we had a really smelly room but we messaged the owners and they gave us a new room straight away.

The location
No lamp at the side of the bed, at the end for some reason. No towel rail next to the sink to hang your towel on.
The toilet was dirty in the bowl ( poo stain at the bottom) the cleaner needs to double check

The location of this hotel is right in the middle of the main attraction in Oban. The staff responded very sharply when we reported a problem. This a a little quirky hotel room, good for a night.
There is a sea food restaurant above this hotel, so from 7am till 12am you can hear the chairs and tables a over your head. The bed is also a double however because the bed is pressed up against the wall and very high off the ground it's more like a small double you are sleeping in, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is tall as I am 5'6 and I touch the bottom post of the bed.

Ideal location for the ferry. Very clean, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom & shower.
Cant fault it for the price.

I was catching the ferry in the morning to Tiree and the location couldn’t have been any better.
Was a little warm at night, but it was a heatwave when I stayed.

bathroom had an odd smell

The location was perfect but room was too small for 2 people . Bed was too high and no room to sit
Too small
9.0 / 10.0
The hotel locate next to the ferry terminal good for early departure and late return. The room is small but very clean, windowless but didn't feel suffocated, even prefer for summer months.
The beds are comfortable. Blankets a bit too thick for summer but you can alway blast the AC.
The bottom bed is quite high from the ground so couldn't roll out of bed and I'm 5"4.
Room no.7 is close to the no.6 and 8. I heard their door banging shut multiple in the middle of the night and their alarm clock early in the morning.

Room was very clean and well presented
Drains smell like they need a good clean. Quite a strong smell when opening bathroom door.
9.0 / 10.0
No breakfast included so cant comment, location couldn't be more central easily accessible for all transport, pubs, shops, eateries etc. The room was compact but more than adequate, comfy bed, nice linen, good duvet and pillows. Decent towels, the WIFI a bit slow at times but not for long. Ensuite clean and adequate. Perfectly suited for a few nights travelling light, no windows didn't bother me though an extended period may have but that's just an personal issue. Would stay there again and recommend a stay to others.
The hand sink could do with a wee bit of matinence but that's only a small issue.

Location was ideal for ferry and train
Some noise from restaurant above and woken up by beer barrels being delivered at around 05:00hrs

My first stay in a pod, but would happily do so again IF, and it's a big IF, the price were OK.
Room spotless, comfortable bed, good wifi with sufficient sockets for charging. AC worked well.
Entry could have been simpler, but immediately resolved using contact number displayed.
Lack of opening windows (usually a game breaker), but this fully understood on booking and the reason the price has to be right. A parking deal with an adjacent car park would have been useful.

Entrance “pin” was a little confusing

The location was great, the room was very clean and bed was comfortable
To gain entrance into the building and rooms you need a web app on your phone to open the doors. We did have an issue where a couple of men entered our room when we were asleep by mistake using the web app to open our room door. This was quite scary and shows a lack of security.

The room was fine for a one night stay
Comfortable bed and bathroom fine
It was difficult to use the phone entry but managed to in the end
No windows although it was mentioned in the booking
9.0 / 10.0
We loved the check in process where we didn't have to be there for a certain time to check in we could just show up whenever and use our digital entry key. These rooms are perfect for short stay and great location next to the harbor.
The only thing I could really say is that the beds are really high for me being 5"3 but other than that no faults
10.0 / 10.0
Central clean and good price easy access
No windows take a bit to adjust to but made clear at booking so was no surprise
