Our stay was fine, quite near the centre and the view overlooking the ferry terminal and the sea was amazing.

It was very clean and well maintained.

Did not like the fact that no parking is available at the property. We had to park a fair distance away and this is no good when you are carrying luggage for your stay. Didn’t like the artificial smell of diffusers. It was quite overpowering. Many people have allergies to these.

The room was pristine and well equipped. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was modern and everything worked.

Our only complaint was parking. I remembered there was street parking, but I didn’t realize it was paid parking, plus the street closest to the apartment only allowed a max of four hours.

Great location - loved the view of the harbour from our window. The room was compact but had everything we needed. Very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and shower, large fluffy towels. Great array of drinks and milk, not the usual 6 cartons or sachets. Beautifully clean throughout and very homely.

Neat, comfy and lovely stay!

The property was neat, tidy and very comfortable. The location was great and a short walk into the town centre. The view overlooking the harbour was lovely. Great communication from the host on how to access the property and when we could not get to the property for the first night they were very understanding. We really enjoyed our stay.

The guest house has recently refurbished. Our room was ideal for an overnight stay. It is close to the ferry terminal, train station and town centre. No parking but street parking available close by. I would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely comfortable and spacious room, recently refurbished with a huge bathroom and gorgeous views. Food was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car park was a bonus. Would have liked to stay longer.

Kiwi Steve in Oban

The cleaning lady must be the most hard working and best we've ever seen. Everything was immaculate on arrival, beautifully scented, and superbly presented. The whole interior decor looked to be recently refreshed and had been done to a high standard that lifted the ambience. Full marks for overall presentation. Location was brilliant, just a 4min walk to Oban central, and parking was easy in the next street. Lovely Harbour views capped off our experience.

The location is on a busy road, so if you like sleeping with the windows open road noise continues until circa 10pm.

We loved staying here! The bed was extremely comfortable which is important us. Nothing beats a great nights sleep after being up 29 hrs of travel. It was spotless and exactly as pictured. Check-in was easy and it’s up the street from everything. Loved it here!

Lovely stay in Oban

The Killorn had a family suite that was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 1 child. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We felt at home right away. The owner was friendly, helpful, and communicated well.

Great Base For Exploring

The guest house is located 5 to 10 minutes walk from the station and 10 to 15 minutes from town. When you open the door you are met by a lovely smell and a bright, airy entrance hallway. There is a lounge area for guests to eat meals brought in from outside. We were in Mull which was located on the first floor to the front of the building. It had a fantastic view, a large comfortable bed, plenty of sockets and a small bathroom. We had a great time in Oban and the guest house made a very good base for our exploration.

There isn't a wardrobe, just a hanging space like a budget hotel. There is no storage shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Creaky floors from our upstairs neighbours. No lift. No car parking.

What a beautiful guest house! Tastefully renovated, immaculately clean and smelled lovely and fresh! Great location - walking distance to everything Oban has to offer. Beautiful water views from our room - incredible sunset too! The room was well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. Next time we would definitely try and book an extra night as there are so many fantastic restaurants and places to see in Oban.
