We loved the modern decor, the walk in shower and the huge bed. Also there was a pretty good view of Oban harbour. Pari was very friendly and helpful. Very thoughtful extras in the mini fridge which was topped up daily.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was peaceful despite the inconsiderate neighbours.

The owners and staff went out of their way to accommodate. On my second night, my upstairs neighbours were being loud, with the football on. The staff asked them to turn it down, which they didn't agree to, so I was moved to a much quieter room. The couple who are employed to run the place are adorable, helpful, and kind. Although breakfast isn't provided, there were plenty of teabags, coffee, non-dairy alternatives to milk, water, and snacks.

The upper floors were very hot. The windows were not open and it was unusually warm so it took a long time to cool down after we arrived.

Clean, comfortable, modern and tidy, but serious safety concerns if emergency exit necessary.

I have marked this property down for health and safety reasons. The lock on the main inside door was of the 'yale' type and needed a key to open it from the inside rather than just turning a handle as would be normal in commercial premises of this type. It appeared the lock had been modified in that the lever to lock the latch in the open position had been removed! This exit is the only one from the property apart from 1st floor windows. There are no other fire exits. In an emergency at night, perhaps in darkness/smoke, this could prove dangerous and cause catastrophic delays. Does this situation conform to the relevant Local Authority standards?

Location, general ambience, little extras (fridge, coffee, tea, milk etc), free parking.

Stand alone bath was difficult to use without water going everywhere (including down the back in difficult to reach areas). Grey colour scheme was very restful but made it dark and difficult to see in some areas.

The rooms was beautifully decorated, very calm and fresh. The shower was really nice, all amenities needed. The wee station with drinks, coffee and an option for porridge breaksfast was a great touch. I enojy my stay and will deefenetly come back.

The room had a lovely window but it looked over to a path and yard and it was quite noisy if the doors where open. It would not idtter me from book that room again but it was a low.

Perfect!! Was stunning

The room was absolutely stunning. The bed was super comfy, bathroom had great facilities and lots of amenities were provided. The room had a luxury feel to it, and the view from our room was great!

We were late checking in because of a road closure and the hosts knocked on our door at 9am to receive payment which was a bit of an awakening! Perhaps making it a bit clearer a payment link has been sent / just taking it from the booking would be a better method.

2 night stay in oban

Arrived earlier than check in. Phoned property and told we could check in. This is done as a self check in although young lady helped us. Payment taken. Room was clean and a well stocked fridge with orange juice water and milk. Tea coffee biscuits and porridge on bench. Property is a 10 minute walk along the sea front into oban. Plenty info given at the property for places to eat and drink. Bed was very comfortable with toiletries in the bathroom. Good fluffy white towels provided. We had a 2 night stay and left keys in the door before 10.00 am advised on check in.

Everything was new and done to a high standard. Exceptional water view and a very large and comfortable bed.

Great location, but if you are downstairs you’ll wake early.

Location great but was difficult to find. Really should say that’s it’s behind another guesthouse. Accommodation is new and lovely!! The juice fresh milk and porridge pots are a nice touch.

Comfortable, lovely room in a great location on the bay.

The bed was comfortable, shower was spacious, everything was new and clean. The porridge, juice, hot chocolate, milk was awesome!

It was hard to find and the maps took us to a house a few doors down. There’s no signage telling you it’s behind another building. It would be nice to have that in the instructions/directions. It was a little frustrating, trying to find the house, but once we found it, we loved it! Also, we feel there should be some couches in the main foyer on the main floor, where you can sit and look out at the bay.

Fabulous

The room was very nice all new just been fitted out to a high standard , looking out to the sea , staff very helpful, there was milk , orange juice , porrage pots that you can have along with tea and coffee in the room which was a lovely touch , 10 min walk into the town centre along the promenade, bed was super comfortable clean and fresh , maybe a small fan for room but it was exceptionally warm on Saturday , we opened the doors but rain came on through night and had to close them

The room and view were incredible, staff were friendly and there in a second when needed.

Fabulous place

Very well appointed rooms and lovely shower room. Very comfortable and spacious bed. There is a small fridge with milk, water and orange juice as well as makings for tea and coffee. Porridge and biscuits are also supplied. Its very convenient for the town with cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk along the esplanade. Highly recommend this place.

Gemütlich und luxuriös zum Einkuscheln

Unser Aufenthalt im Oban House House hat uns sehr gefallen und war genau das, was wir nach anstrengenden Reisetagen gebraucht haben: Es war ruhig und das Zimmer und Bad war total komfortabel und luxuriös. Zusätzlich zu Tee und Milch gab es sogar Orangensaft und Porridge, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Alles war nagelneu und sehr geschmackvoll und im Boutique-Stil eingerichtet. Auch Netflix etc hat super funktioniert und das Bett war so bequem! Ich wünschte, wir hätten länger als eine Nacht bleiben können! :)

Nieuwe kamers, super schoon, uitstekende locatie op loopafstand van centrum van Oban, maar wel rustige ligging. Hel fijn dat er 2 flesjes jus d' orange in de koelkast waren alsmede porridge voor ontbijt, koffie en thee. Ik kom graag terug als we weer naar Schotland reizen.

Neues Guesthouse fußläufig zu Oban.

Die vor Ort befindlichen Hausverwalter waren sehr nett. Sehr ruhig, aber dennoch ist man fußläufig schnell in der Stadtmitte von Oban. Vor dem Haus wenige Parkplätze, aber hinter dem Haus sind genügende.
