Main bedroom door doesnt work and there was no broom (that we could find) to clean up after ourselves. Was a great stay tho!

Ideally located, spacious, fully equipped house in beautiful Scarborough, with a pool!

The location is excellent. The beach is a short walk away, and the shops are also within easy walking distance. There's limited views because you are at sea level. The house could easily accommodate two families - there are two main bedrooms and a central room off the passage with four beds suitable for kids. Note there is no door on this "kids" room. The kitchen is well equipped and they supply beach towels - which is a bonus. Darts and table tennis were great, as was the small pool. Spacious, clean and comfortable and we felt very safe, I have no hesitation in recommending this spot in beautiful Scarborough

This one place you will return to.

This fully equipped house is close to the beach. We we a group of 6 and there were more than enough space for everybody. The table tennis was great and we enjoyed the outside entertainment area. This peaceful town was amazing.

PROPERTY WAS MISREPRESENTED PHOTOS OF POOL DID NOT SHOW HOW SMALL POOL ACTUALLY WAS AND POOL WAS FILTHY ON ARRIVAL - CALLED THE OWNER WHO SENT POOL CLEANERS NEXT MORNING TO CLEAN POOL. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO WORK GAS STOVE ATTENDING SITE MANAGER WAS NOT THERE AND NOT CONTACTABLE - CALLED 7 X TO GAIN ACCESS TO PROPERTY AS KEY STICKS IN DOOR LATCH AND DOES NOT MOVE. CALLED THE OWNER WHO TOLD US TO LEAVE THE NEXT MORNING AND WOULD PAY THE MONEY WE HAD PAID BACK. WHEN I SAID I WOULD NOT LEAVE AS I HAD PAID TO STAY THERE HE OFFERED TO SEND A BUNCH OF WORKMAN TO REPAIR THE PROBLEMS WHICH I DECLINED AS WE HAD COME TO RELAX NOT TO SUPERVISE HIS WORK PEOPLE WHEN ON SITE MANAGER DID ARRIVE HE SAID HE WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE AS LATCHES AND SLIDING LOCKS BROKEN OR STUCK OR HAD NO MOVING PARTS TO MOVE THEM. THE FRIDGE DID NOT COOL DOWN THE FOOD. BASICALLY THE PROPERTY IS WORN OUT AND A NUMBER OF ITEMS NEED REPLACING AND REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE WORK IS DESPERATELY NEEDED. IT IS MARKETED AS A LUXURY PROPERTY WHEREAS IT IS VERY VERY RUSTIC . THE OWNER DID REFUND OUR FULL PAYMENT BUT OUR BIRTHDAY WEEKEND WAS RUINED BY HIS UNPLEASANTNESS AND THE SITE MANAGER LACK OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND I WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY AND IT IS TOTALLY OVERPRICED.

Gone to the Beach- a home away from home

The house was clean, spacious and had all the necessary appliances. The game area was a hit as well as the splash pool. The partial sea views and the short distance to the beach was also a bonus. The area itself is serene, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The trees in the front of the house and opposite neighbours should be trimmed to allow for a better view of the sea.

The TV was the only internal issue. We don’t usually need it but it was disruptive to have the swop and then finding it didn’t work in the end.

Fantastic house, highly recommendable.

The house is beautifully furnished, and tip top organized. Comfortable beds, pristine linen and towels, a homey feel and very clean. The whole set up of the house gives everyone enough privacy when needed, and yet come together in spacious surroundings when wanted. There are two large outside areas and we used them both. The morning porch and the evening get together with bbq, open fireplace, table tennis table in very good condition. Plenty of seating space all around. There are extra blankets for cooler evenings. The TV room is nicely situated and has a nice decor. The whole decor of the house was beachy / holidayish and comfortable. The showers are walk in and large. The master en suite bathroom is stunning with a large shower and inviting bath tub. I wish our stay was a bit longer to make use of all the house has on offer.

Relaxing, the town is just so tranquil.

I liked the location, overall accommodation good, cleanliness, view of the ocean from the top floor, wifi was good.

The walk-through bedroom is not private and we had to make last minute arrangements for our guests to stay elsewhere. The pool is not safe for young children and should be covered with a net. None of the hosts answered their phones to help us setting the gas oven during the first night, however, one of them did come the next morning to assist.
