Great value accommodation

The managers' attention was 10 out of 10 and the place was spotless. There is a metrorail station just at the corner. You can use them to visit the Towns nearby (Simon's Town, Kalk Bay, Muizenberg), if you are looking to save fuel. The metro service is good, clean and safe. It was fantastic to use it.

It's a little noisy outside, but that's understandable because there is a train station nearby.

It was every enjoyable and affordable.

The bed was comfortable, shower was good, wifi was fast. I liked the fan in the room, perfect for the summer heat. The location was good, close to the beach

The door to the balcony was hard to open, couldn't get it open. Bathroom windows didn't have a blind, directly opposite the shower.

I was irritated that Bookings.com kept on asking for.review of 55 Main. Out of the places we stayed it was the least exp

The bed was comfortable. Staff assisted to carry luggage. The safe was large enough for a laptop. Attentive staff. Close to the sea. Food outlets close by.

There was no lift. Parking was limited and was worried that we wouldn’t have parking if arrived too late although the management said they would make plan. Room was small. No aircon. Didn’t like the surrounding area.

Love everything about this spot! Staff are friendly and well informed. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Decor is fun and well appointed. Prices are affordable. Great little coffee stations and communal cooking or relaxing areas. Secure parking. Will definitely book again!

I love that’s it’s clean. Plenty of space to move around. It’s Quiet and Members here are super friendly.

Maybe black widow curtains. I personally don’t like being waken up by naturally(sunlight). Maybe just ask if people prefer black curtains of white ones.

ALWAYS A LOVELY TIME

I love the peaceful essence/atmosphere of the building. The Scented communal room, with complimentary tea and coffee is very relaxing, alot of thought was put into that room, and the scent is just sooooooo 🧎🏽‍♀️😌🤌 The fact that there is staff 24/7 but they aren't always in your space, which respects privacy, and they are always friendly and willing to help. I've had bad experiences with second bookings, but not here. Also, if you're choosing a room, you can use the beautiful kitchen and the supplied utensils, if not, there are a variety of restaurants to get food from in the area. I'm looking forward to my THIRD BOOKING! 🤭💝

Nothing bad I can say, only that the traffic outside is sometimes hearable for those who love absolute silence, but you can ask for a back room if that's the case. It's really a lovely place if you're looking to get away.

The location is okay, but it is in the middle of the town main road. It is central to the beach and Woolworths. Having a Spa in the hotel is great.

Were not used to staying in the middle of town, however it is not really a deterrant.

I would go back for a few nights, love the proximity and massages

Inside it's quiet - a serene atmosphere despite the bustle outside, dècor is very modern and neat, the common room was well equipped and a good space to briefly interact with others, the spa (although small) is quite worth the spend, immediate area is a bit downtrodden; but definitely easy access and close proximity to shops/restaurants and surrounding towns. It's a bit like a very upmarket hostel/backpackers with all the comfort of a hotel.

The area is something to get used to, though if you try the little (spaza) shops, you can pick up a few good deals

The place was clean and well decorated ☺️. The fact that am fond of the water and place has a beach view made the stay to exceed my expectations to a point that I wanted to stay for more days .the host was friendly,approachable and accommodating ❤️. The place is located next to the restaurants,stores and beach 🏖️ which made the morning breeze and afternoon breeze to be 👌.I loved it.

I liked everything about the place , I just wished to have a mini kitchen in the bedroom since I'm an introvert 😅, otherwise the place was nice and we met other guest in the kitchen. 10/10
