Over night Visit to Wild Rose Country Lodge

The Staff was really friendly. Frank greeted us at the gate. There was a lovely pool if the weather permitted. Close to Noordhoek village where we attended a concert. They kindly accommodated us with a cold breakfast when we needed to depart early the next morning.

The rooms are unfortunately run down. I think the property as a whole could do with some attention.

lovely property. staff were excellent - friendly and accommodating, they were attentive to every request, let us stay late due to the roads being closed and made us lunch. pool area was also great. comfortable beds. blackout curtains allowing for great sleep.

Great stay at wild rose, the rooms have a direct access to the pool area, and the view from the breakfast room on the ocean is just amazing. Well located in Noordhoek, not far from the Market (still better/easier to drive there). Appreciated the possibility to go for a run from the guest house to the beach.

The owners Rose and Micheal and the manager Frank made our stay simply unforgettable. The location is simply gorgeous and the ocean view at sunset is spectacular. We will definitely come back - it was like a 2nd home after a few days!

Would've loved the jacuzzi to be in working condition that's the only thing everything else was spectacular.

Pleasant

The breakfast was good, and the staff were attentive. The views from the upstairs shared spaces were great, and I would have liked to spend more time enjoying the view, but we had lots of activities scheduled. There is a hot tub and a boma with a fire pit, but we didn't get to use them. I can see how these extras would be great to enjoy on another visit.

The electrical points in the room need extension as there wasn't enough points for our gadgets to charge. The power to one of the plugs tripped a few times on one of the days, but they seemed to address that quickly. There were several dogs that we were told belonged to the owner's relatives who were visiting at the same time. They were a bit of nuisance as we specifically avoid places with pets and this bit of information was not clear when we booked.

We requested take away breakfast as we had to leave before 08h00 which was breakfast time. First day we had fruit which we could not take with, yogurt and muffins, second day we had only croissants, third day I could take my fruit, as I bought take away containers, but only muffins with the fruit. I was quite surprise to realize on our last morning attending the breakfast room that we actually paid for a full breakfast and not a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.
