A brilliant stay in a fabulous location with lovely hosts... recommend!

Such a lovely location in beautiful Noordhoek. We had a brilliant time here and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Easy car parking, great apartment, beautiful garden, lovely swimming pool. They provided brilliant snacks and welcome coffee/tea/water. Plus a bottle of wine! We loved it here.

It was extremely hot weather when we were there and there's no A/C. So returning to the property in the afternoon it was quite stuffy. But cooled down plenty so no problem at night and there are fans in each room. Would also have been nice to have a couple of garden chairs to go find shade. The next door property (run by same folk) had lots of portable garden furniture but the property we were in just had fairly fixed bench that was sometimes in full sun.

A slice of heaven

Loved everything. A real slice of heaven. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment to make you feel at home. Even had briquettes and firelighters to start the braai. The bed was so comfortable and I had my best sleep. On the day it was raining I could still sit on the balcony and not get rained on. Alana checked up on my stay daily. Even the pets were so friendly. Highly recommend.

Super attentive host, well stocked, spacious and clean. Really nice bbq set up nice small thoughtful touches like charcoal, fire lighters etc.

Excellent.The large, well mantained garden, provides the opportunity to stretch ones legs and chill.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. While the wine glasses provided are adequate for 99% of guests I prefer a larger wine glass. What I know about Alana, the host, is on my next visit she will have my preferred wine glass waiting for me.

Serenity...Serenity I went to Horizon cottages to get a break away an that's what I got was pure bliss the quietness the cleanliness was so tranquil and the cottage was equipped with all that I needed to make the stay more comfortable so I would advise anyone to Horizon cottages .

It was amazing.

We loved the quietness. It felt very intimate and cosy and also Alana & Vernon were the best; they were always available and respond timely when you need something or you have a question regarding your stay. We are definitely going again sometime and we would definitely recommend their place.

Exceptional

A fantastic location in Noordhoek, very close to the local village, common and the beach. I spent the weekend there with my two young daughters, they loved the place. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. A big garden and pool for the children to play. We have already booked for our next trip. Alana is a fantastic host

The room/apartment is really comfortable and has a balcony that opens out onto the pool area and braai. The view is amazing and the neighbourhood so tranquil that its hard to believe that you are just a short drive from Cape Town!

We found the kettle only worked some of the time but the hosts quickly replaced it. The bathroom was clean but a little too cosy for a longer stay - ours was only two nights so this was not an issue.
