Good location but could be improved

Location was very good

Had some issues with power and internet for the first night and day. Was no DSTV either until we connected through the app. The property could benefit from double glazing and block out curtains, it was very loud and difficult to sleep as the main bedroom was very bright from the outside street lights as well.

Perfect location for exploring Kalk Bay area, house was very comfortable. We could walk everywhere.

The location was amazing and one could walk along the coast and to restaurants and shops.

The stay was great except the bumped car.

We did not have breakfast from the property - is self catering.

The garage is small we could not park the car in the garage. We had to park the car outside and we found it with a dent in the front bumper - it shows that it was bumped as the bumper was also off on the side where it clips. And this has resulted in additional costs for us.

The location was perfect. Sea view was gorgeous day and night. Facilities and restaurants close by.

I requested cleaners, but they didn’t arrive on 2 of the days . Perhaps it was because it was public holidays , but notification would have been great . No teaspoons, and not enough cleaning utensils.

Nicht wieder.

Die Aussicht aufs Meer.

Dem Rating und den Bewertungen war nicht zu entnehmen, dass das Haus an einer Hauptverkehrsstrasse lag. Zwar sah man auf den Fotos die Straße, aber man vermutet dann eher eine Strandstasse. Ab 5.00 stand man senkrecht im Bett, das ging bis Mitternacht. Nicht das, was man sich für erholsame Tage wünscht. Zudem war es einfach...mmmh...unzureichend gereinigt. Die Küche befand sich in einem hygienisch bedenklichen Zustand, den Gestank aus Kühl- und Gefrierschrank haben wir bis zum Ende nicht weg bekommen. Erst auf unsere Beschwerde hin, hat der Gastgeber nachreinigen lassen. Die Badematten wurden gewaschen, der dreckige Teppich wurde gewechselt und die Küche geschrubbt. Der Boden wurde trotzdem nicht gewischt (siehe Foto).Die Nacharbeiten waren unzureichend. Dazu war das Mobiliar stark abgewohnt, die Duschen waren verschimmelt, die Vorhänge schmutzig. Hätten wir nicht direkt für sechs Tage im Voraus bezahlt, wären wir umgezogen. Ach ja, den Sonnenschein auf der Terasse, wie auf den Fotos, gibt es nur früh bis Mittag, danach ist es dort sonnenfrei. Das hohe Rating ist einfach unverständlich.
