Our stay was pleasant

The view was great. Johnny received us with warmth. The house is great but very outdated. It was clean and each room had its own ensuite. The layout of the house was good and the view from the balcony was amazing.

We had a situation with the kitchen having cockroaches and that put a damper on our stay. The bedding needs to be updated. The house could do with an upgrade. I will recommend the house to be used as a base to move from as it is not set up for leisure.

Great Location

The place was very nice and perfectly located between Fish Hoek and Simon’s Town. The swimming beach nearby is close and really lovely. The house has a big stoep with a great view of the mountains, which we really enjoyed. We were four people and had the place to ourselves, which made the stay even better. All the beds were king-size, which was a big plus. Owner also very responsive.

A few small suggestions that would make the stay even better would be adding fans in the rooms, replacing the microwave, and providing an umbrella for the stoep so the outdoor area can be fully enjoyed.

SERENE!!!

In all honesty, the hospitality experienced, the owner and his amazing assistant who I had the pleasure of meeting, the place itself exceeded our expectations. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Towels were provided, extra blankets and comfortable beds, there were TV channels which made the nights more enjoyable with the kids and the VIEW!!!! I really cannot fault this place on anything.

1. House not ready when we arrived. 2. Bed arrangement incorrect as requested. 3. Never advised that there was an alarm, code supplied from London never worked so alarm constantly going off during our stay...going off during the night which was irritating for my clients AND also disturbing the neighbours!!!! So much so that Clients demanded a refund! 4. WIFI did not work at all as advised. 5. Kitchen and bed rooms had cockroaches freely running around. 6. Building and outside needed attention looking tired.
