Tranquility

The place was very suitable for my group. The apartments were lovely. We weren't very far from V&A Waterfront as well as Table Mountain. Checkout was at 10:00, we got delayed a bit with loading our trailer and driving out but fortunately the hosts didn't charge us extra for the delayed checkout. My group was not the easiest to host so I thank the hosts for bearing with us.

The place could've done with a deep clean before our arrival especially some of the bathrooms. One of the apartments did not lock and I was told this on arrival by the host. There was no intervention to fix this. The weather was chilly on some days and the rooms didn't have blankets. 2 apartments don't have closets so four gets couldn't comfortably hang their clothes. On the last night the host kept sending me messages to remind me about the noise policy and quiet hours Very early on the morning of checkout I got another message reminding me about checkout time. This was a bit unpleasant The hosts were lovely, but I was told no one will be around when we checked out, however when we checked out I saw one of the hosts come out the house so it felt like we were being avoided.

Lovely place, in a beautiful location. Very clean. Fantastic hosts - Carlo assisted me with a repair on my car’s mirror that was damaged en route to Tranquility.
