The Palm was our ‘home from home’ in Hout Bay/Cape Town

The location of the property was perfect, close to the beach, shops and restaurants and allowed easy access to both Cape Town city centre/Waterfront and the Constantia Winelands. The property was also safe and secure and had good parking. The accommodation was clean, well presented and well equipped and had everything we could need to make our stay perfect. Sean and Caron made us feel extra special with so many lovely little touches in the apartment. They were both gracious and welcoming hosts and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The views from the apartment were wonderful and were the perfect tonic for us on our holiday. We have visited Hout Bay and Cape Town on many occasions over the years, and can honestly say that we were most happiest and comfortable in our stay at The Palm and would highly recommend it, to anyone thinking of staying in Hout Bay.

Amazing stay in Hout Bay, would definitely recommend!

The accomodation is very clean, it has a beautiful view, there was a nice wine and some crunchies when we arrived, Sean is a wonderful host who is very responsive and kind. All in all, we had an amazing stay and already decided that we will come again in the future!

The property is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood,with a very nice view, comfortable bed and soft bedsheets and fleece. The building is beautiful inside with electricity backup incase of load shedding. Stuff is exceptional,always available to talk to and friendly as well. I’d definitely stay there on my next trip🥰🥰🥰

It was beautiful and clean. The host was excellent and communicated well. I felt very safe and comfortable. Although they don’t serve breakfast, Hout Bay has very nice restaurants, so I was happy to explore and try out some excellent food. Highly recommended stay 👍🏻

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einem wunderschönen Apartment in Kapstadt zu wohnen, das unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht hat. Die Lage des Apartments ist ideal: in einer ruhigen Gegend gelegen, dennoch mit hervorragender Anbindung an alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Mit unserem Mietwagen konnten wir problemlos alle Attraktionen erreichen, und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Apartment selbst ist äußerst geräumig und besticht durch seine Sauberkeit. Mit einem großzügigen Wohnzimmer und einem komfortablen Schlafzimmer bietet es viel Platz zum Entspannen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die atemberaubende Aussicht, die jeden Morgen aufs Neue begeistert hat. Unser Gastgeber Sean war außergewöhnlich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Er nahm sich die Zeit, uns die besten Sehenswürdigkeiten Kapstadts zu empfehlen, stand stets für Gespräche bereit und half uns bei allen Fragen sofort weiter. Obwohl wir seine Frau nur kurz aus der Ferne gesehen haben, hat sie uns freundlich gegrüßt und sich später sogar noch per WhatsApp bei uns bedankt – eine Geste, die wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Wir haben uns in dieses Apartment und die Gastfreundschaft von Sean verliebt und planen definitiv, wiederzukommen. Es war wirklich ein unglaublich toller Urlaub, und die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt.
