Noise from nearby township ( loud music ) . Small kettle braai. I did not use it because of that. Trees partially blocking the beautiful view of the Harbour.

Best stay in Hout Bay!

Stefan and Ian were very hospitable and even brought us extra bottled water because we hadn't yet bought any. They also assisted us with a wall charger. The accommodation had everything else we needed and then some!

Convenient place close to beautiful Cape peninsula.

Even host is living on the premise it is still very private. And host was very helpful. A convenient location for trips to Constancia the peninsula and Cape Town. Flat is quite spacious and well arranged.

Clean, chill and a great host!

We loved staying here! Stefan our host was great and knows how to look after his guests. Very accommodating and chill host that we’ve come to appreciate. If you’re looking for a calm, clean and sunny spot, I highly recommend his accommodation.

I loved the place. it was amazing, from the host to the decor to the view. I mean the place even has a washing machine. it comes with essential food items and fruits. I also got some goodies. the best part, I forgot my laptop charger and he couriered it for free. I am out of words. I have never had such a beautiful experience. what a fantastic host. we would go back, over and over again. It is amazing.

Amazing view, amazing host

Amazing views. Very comfortable. Our host was incredibly attentive to all our needs but at the same time not intrusive, and provided exceptional customer service. We even had a basket of fresh fruits and chocolate. Very clean apartment. He would inform us when load shedding (power cuts) would occur, though we didn't felt any difference, as they had a backup system, also about restaurants, groceries and he even thought of providing an alternative route on our last day because of the road closures due to the 2 oceans marathon happening nearby. If we had any problems we could contact him as he lived on the premises. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.

I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and calm of the neighbourhood.

Beautiful View is situated along the mountain side in Hout Bay, in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. As a bonus, you do not need to be concerned about the continuous rolling blackouts in South Africa, since there are rechargable lights, a gas stove and back-up power for the necessary utilities. Stefan provided in our every need - from the usual amenities, right to the beach umbrella, sun screen and pocket tissues. The fruit basket and adult beverages were a nice welcome after the long journey. I can highly recommend the facility for a nice self-drive getaway. If you come over weekends, make sure to visit the lovely craft/food/art market that is just down the hill.

Public transport could be a bit challenging, so I would recommend having your own transport for easy access to surrounding sites of interest. However, Stefan does provide a list of contactable and reliable taxi drivers based in the neighbourhood.

In addition to an amazing apartment, the hosts are one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met!

The apartment has everything you might need during your stay/holiday. It’s clean, spacious and very cozy. (The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!) It's also very nice to sit outside and enjoy the view from a lovely garden.

Stay here was amazing. Stefan and Ian made us feel very welcome and comfortable! They also ensured that we had all the basic amenities that we needed. View from the garden is beautiful and has great privacy. Washing machine was a nice added bonus!

Stephen and Ian were great hosts, they went out of their way to accommodate us, they even went as far as giving my partner a gift and a balloon for his birthday. Weeks ahead I was in contact with Stephen to arrange for the booking and he assisted me with securing by booking to ensure I can take my partner away for his birthday. Thank you from the both of us for a great stay. Also as a bonus the place was super neat and very comfortable and had an amazing view of the harbor and the mountains.

La qualité des équipements, la propreté. L'emplacement près de la Chapman's road pour voir tous les couchers de soleil et permettant de sillonner toute la péninsule tout en habitant hors de Cape Town. Les échanges avec notre hôte ont été très agréables et elle a tout fait pour nous rendre service et le séjour très agréable. Une machine à laver le linge très précieuse puisque nous sommes rendu compte par la suite que c'était une denrée très rare même dans les "self-cattering" logements.

Perfekt

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön mit einer sonnigen Terrasse mit Ausblick. Sie ist vollumfänglich ausgestattet (Waschmaschine, Fön, Smart TV inkl. Netflixzugang, voll ausgestattete Küche). Sie liegt im ruhigen Hout Bay ca. 30-45min von der Innenstadt entfernt, auf halbem Weg zum Kap der guten Hoffnung, Mietwagen erforderlich. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und würden diese Wohnung immer einer im Stadtkern vorziehen. Absolute Empfehlung.
