Unfortunate about the neighbourhood and bright lights

The host was extremely friendly. The inside of the room is nice and has everything you need. It was comfy and everything looked clean. The pool is nice. The host went out of her way and added extras to the fridge like drinks, milk etc as well as snacks which we did not expect. There is an airconditioning unit which is great. The host activates the alarm beams. Parked inside with a locked gate.

The problem started the moment we drove up to the location which has an informal settlement nearby and the neighbourhood did not deel safe. There were lots of people and dogs in the street on the way there. Loud music at night from the informal settlement side as well as barking dogs. The spotlights shine directly onto the room without any blockout curtains the room was very bright at night which makes it difficult to sleep. The shower does not drain properly and you stand in the water which i did not like.

Lovely

Michele is a great host. The accomodation has everything you require. It is clean, comfortable, quiet. On arrival, one is welcomed warm heartedly, also given a starter pack of goodies for just in case you have not been to shops. Michelle thinks of everything. Thank you for a restful three days. Enjoyed 😉

The location wasn't optimal for walking which I kind of wanted. The area wasn't safe. Would've like to be able to walk to the beach.

Lovely stay with accomodating hosts

Really lovely and acommodating hosts, left a few snacks for us as a surprise and let us use their washing macchine, thank you!! The property was light and airy, the bed large and comfortable. We also felt very safe.

Some of the furnishings felt a little worn and could be updated which would make the whole place feel refreshed.

Studio pool room

The hosts were so accommodating, from our late check in, to ensuring something special was there to meet us when we arrived-(after having advised that it was my husband's birthday), to allowing a late checkout, to accommodate our late flight out. Cape Town was cold! Electric blankets were offered, as well as additional heater to help us stay warm, indoors. The fridge was stocked with milk, juices, cold drink, and yogurt. Teas, coffee, and muesli was also available. Fresh fruit was left for us,as well as chocolate bonbons and sweets. And not forgetting a few snacks in the drawer.

It was self catering but there were snacks, fruit, tea & coffee for us there. The room was perfect for what we needed and was clean and very well equipped even a few backups for when we had loadshedding. Host were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay

A very comfortable stay with views across the bay to Chapmans Peak Drive

We were very well looked after by our hosts who had stocked the fridge with useful items. They regularly updated us on the loadshedding timetable. They had good advice on local restaurants. There was secure parking for all guests. There was excellent air conditioning. We were pleased to discover that, as well as a microwave oven, there was an induction hob and use of a barbecue. The shower was excellent. There was a gas stove and good rechargeable lighting in the event of loadshedding. The swimming pool and surroundings were great.

Everything was set up professionally for our convenience that we did not need to ask for help. the location is great as it is close to the beach and harbour. We enjoyed the pool, braai facility and since it was our anniversary, we appreciated the privacy. Will definitely be recommending this location to our friends and family.

Really a good place for a break away,

Andre and Michele were excellent and welcoming hosts and always available for anything. The arrival and welcome was exceptional. They provided well stocked coffee and teas as well as provided healthy breakfast goodies so there was no need to go out and look for this in the morning. This exceeded my expectation and was truly a lovely welcome.

Excellent place to stay, great view and the friendliest of people.

This place was amazing, Michele and Andre were very kind and helpful. The complimentary fruits were very delicious and it was special of them to give that to us. Although, it was too windy to swim in the pool, we dipped our feet and the water was warm. We enjoyed braaing with the view and Michele and Andre helped us in every way they could. We even had our own entrance to the place. The wifi was stable and fast, as well. We really appreciate their hospitality and would definitely choose this place again.
