Great value compact accommodation in brlliant location

Great location, easy access, responsive & friendly hosts, wonderful animals, quality bed linen, regular housekeeping, and extra special touches like coffee beans, shortbread and pillow chocolates!

Quite a lots of flies but to be expected given proximity to horses. A helpful swatter is provided!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage.

The commute to and from the cottage was very central. Our everyday surprise from the chicken that laid her eggs in the pot plant😄 The animals were friendly.

Access to a pool or hot tub would have been a nice touch to our stay. Maybe consider maintenance (workers on the property) during the week and not when there's guests.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings

Nice little cottage with all the basic necessities and was very clean.

The rooster started crowing at 04:20 and the chickens are just outside the cottage. Remind the hosts to put the rooster away. The second night was no problem.

Tranquillity with horses

The hosts were accommodating to our needs. They helped to give us recommendations for special restaurants and even gave us a bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. The property is on an equestrian estate in the foothills of the table mountain range, which provide amazing views and tranquillity. And there are three wonderful dogs that come and visit as a bonus.

The Cottage was lovely and scenery was beautiful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Friendly dogs Sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee looking out at the mountain view was amazing.

RUN, don't walk !

We loved the peace and quiet surrounding the beautiful nature. The cottage itself was modern and cosy which was perfect! The pictures posted does not do justice to the place in person!

Based on personal preference, we would have liked a mini stove or some sort of cooking supply for us to make food. However, the various take out spots in hout bay still satisfied our tummies!

I would stay there again without thinking twice. Good value for money in all aspects.

Safe, clean, quiet, private and comfortable. Everything functioned as expected. It was like staying in a private property with idyllic surroundings of an equestrian heaven.

Absolutely perfect stay! Helpful host, fantastic room, nice view and surroundings. All you need during holidays. Hout Bay is also great base to visit Cape Town and Cape of Good Hope.

Wish I could stay longer

The property has an amazing view and you can watch the most beautiful sunsets from the porch. The room was clean and well organized. During load shedding the WiFi keeps working and you are provided with a light in the room to use in the dark.
