Ideal for an independent stay in a proper apartment, if you can do without posh hotel amenities...

Attractive, very well-maintained property in a gated community with pool offering a safe environment. The residents I met there, including the security guards at the gate, were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is ideal for two people and comes fully equipped for self-catering stays. Shopping facilities and services are available in the immediate vicinity and further afield in Hout Bay's town center. In terms of transportation, the property is easily accessible by car and conveniently located for trips to the surrounding area, including Cape Town and beyond. The landlord is always ready to help and she answers questions promptly. I would definitely choose to stay there again on my next visit to the area.

The only thing I missed upon arrival was a small overview on the kitchen counter, e.g., how to operate the TV, where to dispose of trash in between, or whether there was anything special to be aware of during the stay. That said, the landlady would have been readily available to answer such questions, so this wasn't such a big deal - I could have asked her any time...

Beautiful and convenient location

Beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment. Excellent location a few minutes walk to beach and main shopping area and restaurants. Apartment is peaceful and we loved sitting in the garden having sundowners. Lovely swimming pool although I didn't get to use it as it is winter. Self check-in was seamless and the complex has 24 hour security. We had a wonderful stay - perfect in every way - we will be back ! Host was super helpful I loved the extra touch of tea, filter coffee, milk and biscuits. Thank you !
