Peaceful, comfortable place where you feel like you are at home

I loved the place we stayed at. The host was super friendly and helpful. The dogs on the premises are so friendly and nice. They felt like a piece of home, while our doggo wasn't with us. The room was very big and comfortable and in a very quiet area.

The room unfortunately had no air conditioner but they did provide a small fan. There was also no sink except the one in the bathroom so clean up daily was difficult but other than that the property had everything else we needed.

Quiet, clean and convenient for business in the Southern Suburbs and for Southern Peninsula sightsee

Room was large, airy and comfortable with nice outlook onto the pool and garden. Locality was close to shops and restaurants in Constantia and reasonably close to office I was visiting. so ideal from this perspective. Nice pool and garden area though time did not permit us to use them.. Host met us on arrival and gave us the keys and a brief overview.

Off site parking was a concern although I understand it is a safe and quiet area. I do believe drinking water should be available for guests and although we bought our own we did run out from time to time. Sufficient milk for coffee for our 5 day stay should have been provided. The room was not serviced and no dishwashing facilities were available.

I like the location, environment as well as the cottage itself, it was sparkling clean " the owners were very friendly and welcoming I felt at home .

The fact that i couldn't use the swimming pool beacause it was under maintenance.

Don’t book if you’re likely to arrive/depart outside set times or you’ll pay heavily.

It was clean, spacious with quality bed linen.

The R200 fee (an almost 25% cost increase) for early arrival even though the owner was there overseeing builders. Communication was average and I was never told builders were working on the property outside the room. The listing included a fire but no instructions were provided where wood was or how to light. It was cold in the evening.

Exceeded all expectations!

The room was lovely and exceeded my expectations. Had everything we needed, was easy to locate as Its close by to the M3 which meant quick access to and from where we went. Room was lovely with a comfy couch, perfectly sized dining table and a very lekker fireplace! Will definitely be staying here again!

Disappointing.

The host insisted on a R200 late arrival fee for arriving at 7pm, before granting access to the cottage. After which they continued hosting a load social gathering outside the cottage until 10pm / There are zero kitchen facilities in the cottage other than a bar fridge.

Well decorated and comfortable.

The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with everything there that is needed.

Checked in late due to traffic and also waited 45 minutes outside for the hosts despite calling ahead and notifying the hosts. When arriving phones was not answered and then one has to pay a R200 late fee. The unit we stayed in was connected to the house, could hear the TV, making food and talking.

Comfortable room with limited kitchenette

The room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The garden was lovely as was the pool area, and we enjoyed the company of the dogs.

We had planned to do some self-catering at the property, but were restricted by the very limited kitchen facilities - certainly not a 'fully equipped kitchenette'. There was really only capacity to reheat a meal in the microwave & no sink area to wash dishes (we had to use the bathroom sink), not ideal.
