I would not recommend the loft room unless you have light luggage!!

Lovely welcome from the hostess, good quality furnishings in the room - beautiful garden setting in a quiet and safe area.

* Did not get the room we booked due to some confusion with Booking.com. Hostess advised that she had removed her accommodation from Booking.com. and did not accept one-night reservataions. * However, as we had already paid for the accommodation on a non-refundable booking, we decided to take the offer of the loft room, which has a beautiful setting and is beautifully decorated, with good quality furnishings, etc. However, the access to the room is by a steep steel spiral staircase which is not AT ALL suitable for taking up a big suitcase!! Extremely difficult to get the suitcase up the tight staircase! * There is only a small mirror above the handbasin - no mirror in the room to apply make-up, dry hair, or for getting dressed. * The shower did not drain very well at all - was afraid it would overflow! * The little wheel of the shower door panel came undone, which we had to try to fix.

I cannot rate the property because I never stayed at the property because even though I booked the said property and paid for it only to get a phone call to inform me they are fully booked!

As I said in my above writing there seem to be a huge problem with Booking.com app because it shows vacancy’s that does not exist and then still takes your money too.

It was a very awesome stay.

The hostess met us and was very friendly. It was a home away from home. The keys was handed over in a very professional and welcoming way. It was such a warm and great welcome upon arrival. Very peace and calming atmosphere.

The host was friendly and welcoming. It was really unusually cold when we got to Cape Town and she even went out and bought us a heater (even though there was definitely enough warm bedding). We were very impressed with how she went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable.

The host is exceptionally friendly and accommodating and very caring. The room has everything one needs to feel comfortable when away from home. I will definitely stay there again.

The room is somewhat cold in the morning, but then again, it was generally a cold spell in winter and once dressed warmly the room was very cosy and comfortable.
