- It was beautiful and serene, right on the lake. - We had a paddle boat and canoe available for use. - The room was very comfortable. - Easy to get around on foot and there are many dining options around.

Absolute perfection

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. Tsholo you have out done yourself. Easy to find, safe and secure, comfortable and clean, shops nearby but the best part of it all is the absolute amazing view of the Marina and mountains. Would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to book again.

The only thing that bothered me and cut me was the soap dispenser in the shower, the enamel was heavy and slippery and it fell out of my hands in the shower. I think getting small soaps or having the soap dispenser mounted on the wall would help, but that thing was heavy and unfortunately slipped out my hands while showering. Also there was no gas in the gas tank, so being under the covers kept us warm.

Beautiful place, exactly as described! The apartments are cozy and welcoming. Our host (Tsholo) was incredibly nice and provided a warm welcome. Place surrounded by stunning water views, perfect for morning paddling or canoeing. The scenery is exceptional, breathtaking mountains meet serene water. Very close to the beach, a walkable distance. We felt safe in the neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend

Perfectly situated on the vlei, and just a short 2 minute drive from Muizenberg beach. We also went for a paddle on the kayak provided by the property, free of charge.

I liked the nature and the surrounding views. I liked the showers very modern and hygienic.

I didn't like that there weren't any mops to clean with. I didn't like that the mini pool was dirty and had not been cleaned in years from the looks of it as there are tiny fishes and other species inside it. I didn't like that there was only a canoe and not a paddle boat as well like the surrounding areas as some cannot use the canoe of the fear of falling off. I didn't like that there weren't any mirrors that you can move from place to place in order for you to maybe do your hair closer to the plug ports as it is quite a distance from there. I didn't like that there wasn't an oven even though there were pots to cook food with.

The beautiful view

I've never left a bad review on any of my previous stays and also never got a bad review from the owners. Upon arrival, the gardener was busy cutting the lawn with the lawnmower, and this caused disturbance. This should've been done before arrival times.The towels are so hard, it could be used for a backscrub We unfortunately forgot ours at home and had to use theirs.The toilet brush holder hasn't been cleaned out before we came. The kitchen window can't open, but at least it can be cleaned of dead insects. Some serious attention to detail is needed while cleaning, inside, as well as outdoors. A fresh water pool is a big no-no for myself and my friend, because we don't like swimming amongst algie. Couldn't relax at the pool area because spiderwebs could be seen along the benches. The most disturbing part is the housekeeper who reported my friend and myself to the owner, accusing us of smoking inside the room and that we've damaged the curtains with cigarette smoke. The day We've arrived, she asked us to close the door when we smoke outside cos the smell will make the curtains reak.. and that's what we've done since she told us. We even braaied with the door closed and stood in the rain underneath the umbrella to smoke, so how could she falsely accuse us??? She should do her work properly and not falsely accuse people. She made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. We demand an apology from her. We could have picked a much better place, but i told my friend of this beautiful calming place that I've visited in May'23..The owners wife didn't have a problem with me smoking outside and we had a beautiful connection until the time i left, during my stay in May. This room is suitable for a solo traveler. Apologies for this, but it was definitely not our money worth and very disappointing.

The shower gets cold after one person used it . The room had a terrible after small to it . The room was very humid . The lady assisting was quite rude I feel had family come all the way from Durban that actually just came to greet and she literally walked up to my partner while they just looked at the place considering to book aswell. She literally said only paying guess as if the guess can stay in a one bedroom place quite incentive and silly remark . I tried communicating via the app asking can I have people visit and up until now no communication. No communication even regarding how check in works practically was communicated that I had to call around to actually communicate. Please be advise that pictures are quite deceiving . A rip off I would say . The body wash provided actually gave me a skin rash so please consider your products you are using . The one moment plugs weren’t even working for the microwave.

Amazing spot

Linda was just an exceptional host and very welcoming. We also loved the privacy & the views. The fact that there's backup power during load shedding was a major plus as well. Will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thank you Linda.
