GPS does not take one there; the instructions (which are clear enough but lengthy) have to be read and followed. Soem damage on the ceiling should have been noted and repaired beforehand. Microwave was not working and was speedily replaced. The response to complaint was commendably quick.

Beautiful place, we stayed in upstairs room. Kids two different pet friendly cottages x 2 We lovedour unit, most definetely come back.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, sweet dogs, great staff. Beautiful farm.

There were a lot of things I could overlook with this property, the difficulty in finding it with vague info, unclear check in instructions and just hoping I find the right room as there's no signs indicating which room is yours, (I helped two other guests locate their room as well) the messiness of the property (a lot of rubble and dead vineyards) the dogs constantly pushing their way into the room each time I opened the door and not leaving easily, even the dusty floors and old crusty carpets were fine as it's a farm afterall and a microwave that didn't work, but I drew the line at being without water for 3 hours. The owner (Quint) seemed quite uninterested in sorting the problem out only saying he'd take a look "later, in a couple of hours." I pointed out that we had no drinking water as none was even provided at all, but still no solution was offered such as bringing a couple bottles of drinking water, and when I requested a refund he merely stated that he would only refund me if I left the property. As female travellers in a country that one of the highest rates of r*pe in the world, on a farm quite some distance from town and the owner telling you to leave at 8pm at night and find alternative accomodation. Astounding! He eventually told me to contact my booking agency if I want a refund, which I did and they reported back to me that after numerous phone calls to him, he wasn't answering their calls either. I eventually located a bucket on the property and managed to find some water coming from a tap next to the garage, and I was also prepared to take water out of the swimming pool for the purposes of flushing the toilet at least. But a hot shower on a cold winter's night would have been appreciated as it's what I paid for afterall, isn't it??
