I absolutely loved the location. The views were exceptional — the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Having the dogs around was a lovely bonus and made the stay even more special!
Despite the hurdle mentioned below, our host was very accommodating and kindly allowed us a later checkout since we needed extra time for our transport to collect us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
One downside was that there were very limited food options available to order from nearby. We only realized this once we arrived, so it would be helpful for future guests to be aware and plan accordingly.
Our room also did not have a TV. However, this was my oversight, as there was no mention of a TV being included in the room amenities.
We also experienced some difficulty getting through the front gate. When I called the host for assistance, he asked whether I had read the instructions, which I didn’t appreciate at the time — especially since I didn’t have data access to go back and check them. So I’d strongly recommend that future guests carefully read and save the instructions beforehand to avoid any inconvenience.

We really liked the crows nest apartment. It has the best views of mountains and vineyards. We had a really lovely stay. The beds are comfortable. The place was clean. We also went for a lovely walk through the neighborhood and all the vineyards, the dog ran out and walked with us and returned. We liked that theres a pool. Overall we loved it. The art is beautiful too and some lovely sculptures. Great lighting throughout.
A lot of small maintenance work needed. Attention to detail. Theres a lot of building materials and stuff lying around the place that could be neatened up.
Bathroom taps are loose, toilet top is damaged, doors are really hard to open.
We had to call for the gate pin when we got there would be nice to send all the details that's in the pink booklet before guests arrive.

The mattress was sooo comfortable and the view of Stellies is stunning.
Biggest issue is the location- it’s difficult to find the accommodation on Google Maps, then Ubers struggle to find the spot as well so you have to walk to the main road. The biggest issue with this is that no one was available to assist us. We called the person (think his name is Quinton) multiple times to ask for assistance and he never got back to us not answer the phone. We were thinking how lucky we are to be South Africans but I couldn’t imagine how stressful this would be if I was a foreigner.

The 2 dogs are extremely friendly and was also the only persons we encountered on our stay. There was no need to talk to the hosts and instructions received before hand on lock boxes and entrance was very easy to follow.
Directions to get to the property could have been left alone, as we could've just followed the GPS instead of trying to understand directions to the property. Directions were very confusing and in the end we just used the GPS which got us to the property safely.

The property is in a beautiful location. The Crow's Nest at the top is definitely the best option as it provides a view. The apartment was comfortable and easy to access. A full suite of streaming options on the TV in the evenings when you are tired from the day's activities. Nice and close to Stellenbosch and not too far from Franschhoek. The dogs are very friendly and beautiful.
The apartments needs a bit of TLC in a few areas. The toilet cover was cracked and the taps at the basin loose. The biggest (and only) disappointment was that the bath was not connected with water, as we really wanted to have a bath too.

the place is lovely was a bit hard to find and some road works, but was all worth it with the warm welcome from Maddie and her mates, they are so beautiful and loving, the room was so cozy and close to Simonsig which we visited

Didn't eat breakfast.
Area known to be nice. We arrived too late and departed too early to enjoy property and surrounds.
Annoying music and smoke from stellenbosch/kyamandi was shocking/sad.
Carpet underneath bed appears to be dirty. Clean or remove.
No dishwash wipe or cloth.
Kitchen table needs to be stabilized.
Mattress very wobly, feels like water bed.
Driveway very tight. Had to reverse out, due to sprinter too long to turn in available space.

The View from our room was beautiful. beautiful space overall and the cleaning ladies were a delight.
I'm scared of dogs, they were very friendly but made our stay a little uncomfortable unfortunately, we did not get to explore the property because of the dogs. The pool area was also closed.

Scenery was beautiful and dogs were very friendly and that unfortunately is where it ended.
Some of the cutlery and crockery was dirty in the cupboards and a few chipped cups. Dead potplants, dirty floors, bath with dismantled taps and this was left next the bath with loads of cobwebs - only when asking the housekeeper why the bath was this way she said it wasn't working. Top of toilet cistern was broken and toilet seat wobbly. DSTV decoder was connected to TV but no power cable. Cables hanging out of the wall (hazard). Lots of lights and lamps that were not connected or did not work and fans on ceilings were not connected. Bedroom balcony's door handle was broken and handle just left on windowsill so you could not use the balcony even for a bit of ventilation. Asked the housekeeper for more towels but never received them.
Overall not what was expected in such a beautiful setting. Lots of potential but majorly lacking in cleanliness and upkeep.
Messaged the manager via the app and got no response but got a checkout message from him afterwards and still no response now hence the issues now coming out in this review unfortunately.

Our main requirement on this short trip was a fenced-off private yard where we could leave our small breed dog during the day. The 4-sleep unit with private pool ticked that box perfectly and we can recommend it for that purpose. The owner has three huge Ridgebacks that could swallow our little dog whole but they were ever so gentle and lovely dogs, there were no issues at all. And once inside the property with its fenced off little yard there were only curious and friendly sniffles through the secure mesh fence. This property offers sufficient privacy and the most incredible views! This self-catering property has everything a family of 4 needs and would be a great escape for a couple too. We did not miss the lack of a television at all.
Apart from some aesthetic things that could do with tidying up there really is not much to find fault over here. The extractor fan over the stove did not work.

I loved the beautiful views of Stellenbosch and its winelands the property had to offer. It was truly breathtaking. I also loved the warm welcome Einstein gave us, keeping us company and being sweet for a treat. He is really special indeed.
It was a bit tricky to find.

The coffee, the view, peace & quiet.
Appreciated the heaters.
Attention to detail with cleaning is missing.
Small seat smelled like dog...I dont have pets.
Lots of scuff marks on walls.
Extra comfy chair needed in lounge.
Perhaps cushions for outside furniture.
Bath sheets instead of bath towels.
Kettle looks a bit warn.
Site mentioned electric blankets?
Mattress had a very noisy cover on it...woke me every time I moved.
Linen not cotton so very sweaty unfortunately.
Decor in bedroom very dark...not calming at all.
2 of the blinds were broken.
The place needs a bit of attention.

The shower was great.
The photos made the place look much nicer than it actually was. The welcome also didn’t feel very warm, it wasn’t really clear who the host was, and there wasn’t much of a personal touch. But that might just be something I personally value.

Lovely accommodation just outside Stellenbosch with a gorgeous view out over the valley.
Wish we'd been there longer than just one night to enjoy the accommodation more!

Domaine double booked the superior room which I paid for in advance in full .I spoke to the couple whom were handed over the unit in the morning and they advised that they quote ‘ don’t know why they were checked in a fancy room seeing that they were only there for one night’ .So in short they were handed the room which was booked by myself. They moved us to a room which seemed unclean with bugs and flies which generally costs half of what I paid for for the superior room. Me and my wife decided to cut our trip short together with the other family members who also dissatisfied with the location and their rooms cleanliness and bugs . I asked the secretary that I be be refunded for the nights stay since I was moved to another room and also requested advise on the refund possibilities for the night which cancelled after the unpleasant night .I have not heard anything back from them even after following up for some weeks.

The only plus is that the room was clean and close to the venue where we attended a function.
Incredibly difficult to access the property No one answered the phone and by luck, the guy who emptied the bins saw us and opened the gate for us. The room did not have an information booklet, so we had to ask for the wifi password. There was no milk for tea, no bathmats, no soap in the shower and the bedside lights did not work. The other rooms were occupied by a group of people who were so noisy. Sadly we never met the host or hostess.
