it was a nice quiet place that felt safe and close to everything all at once

we were greeted by the host the moment we got there. check in is usually at 15:00, but due to an emergency reservation change, he was able to let us check in slightly earlier, which we greatly appreciated. he was a very good communicator and made sure to give us in depth info on the place and even offered to give us places of recommendation for food.

the cleanliness of the house was fine, however i did feel that the dishes had a bit of dust in them, which would suggest the plates were not used often. i had to rinse some dishes before using cause of the dust. the rest of the house was beautifully cleaned, but i would have appreciated it if someone had come in prior to our check in or a few days before to ensure every part of the house is clean.

I had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect—walking distance to convenient stores and restaurants. The apartment itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. François and Louis were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, with François being a fantastic host, always available whenever needed. The property feels very safe and secure, with the added benefit of secure parking. Everything was neat, tidy, and modern. Highly recommended!

Perfect location and flexible for 2-4 people

The apartment was perfect for our needs as far as location, size and comfort. We had 2 to 4 people staying in the apartment and there was plenty of room. Parking was secure and underground. There are a few steps to get to the flat on the first floor but this wasn't an issue for us. In walking distance to all central Stellenbosch has to offer.

The stay at Vilaroux was perfect for a few days while travelling for work. The apartment is well equipped and nicely decorated. It is also a short walk to good restaurants. Will stay here again.

Amazing Stellenbosch and surroundings

Nice house within the city in walking distance to all what you need. We walked every evening to the restaurants and felt very safe. Full of students. During the days we were on discovery trips in surroundings of Stellenbosch. Car parking in basement. Big thank you to our host Francois!

The finishes ect is a bit run down, could use a bit of TLC hete snd there, new towels, plumped up pillows. The beds had their share of heavy traffic, a bit worn out.

The property is located in an area where you can walk uptown to the restaurants, bars & shops. Louis received us and was extremely polite & helpful.

The units worked for what we required for three nights but is small for four adults and the bathrooms/basins are tiny. The bath towels were a mix and match and very small for adults for winter. The lounge seating could not accommodate four adults comfortably but we did not spend much time at the unit other than to sleep so it wasn't an issue for us. We did not expect to cook at the unit but did make breakfast in house one morning, the unit could do with better cookware if someone intends preparing their own meals. The complex and unit is secure both in terms of vehicle and pedestrian access.

Our host was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is modern, neat and comfortable - just like the photo's. Loved our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Central to everything.Safe.Francois was very welcoming.Louis was great.Lovely apartment.Everything you need was in it.Gardens beautiful ,so well kept.A lovely pool (small) but great for a dip and some sunbathing .We had a great holiday there.

Freezer of fridge desperately needed defrosting and ice trays in freezer were empty. For 4 adults thec3 seater couch wasn't adequate.need 2 more easy chairs as 2 people had to sit on the bar stools .

Not clean-no provision for load shedding

Flat was not clean- I had to wipe down surfaces before I could use, as it was so dirty. washing machine broken,ceiling fan broken, fans in bathrooms didn't work. It was very hot so really uncomfortable. No load shedding provision. Mattresses, bedding& towels need replacing. WiFi poor.

We loved the way we were greeted and welcomed by Louis .He helped us with luggages and checked in on us regurgary !

The apartment had no lights during load shedding, old towels and not even a soap bar OR laundry detergent ! We could not access the balcony and the bedding has to be freshend! .We ran out of electricity and no one told us to buy additional. Definately not a place i would ever recommemd ! My family from Cannada were dissapointed!
