Good stay

The apartment does have an elevator. Walking distance from central Stellenbosch area. The windows allowed good airflow through the apartment. Secure parking. Clean and new linen and towels. Washer. WiFi.

We used the apartment during a heat wave and an air conditioner would have been nice. The shower does not close and water splashes on the outside bathroom floor. Our kids are a bit older and were a bit cramped in the bunk beds.

Great central option at Stellenbosch, amazing hosts

The space is very well equipped and has a nice decor, the location is the most central possible without any noises from the streets. The hosts had amazing tips for us about the region, they helped us in every possible way during our stay. We had an internet connection issue that was quickly solved, we could see they were really 100% focused on us having a good experience.

Inside the appartment is new, the outside of the building could use a renovation, but that has not been a problem for us and it is def not a problem the owners could resolve.

Comfortable value for money.

The flat was cleverly furnished. and spacious. The bed in the main room was of good quality and very comfortable. The flat is slighty cold in the winter, which just means in future I would pack warmer clothes. My teenager could comfortably roam around town while I was busy with work. The flat is right in the CBD. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for the nice basket with snacks.

Before I went I saw comments on the towels and pillows that were slightly older. Although this is true, everything was clean and it did not really bother.

Picture Book Views

The flat was so light and airy, and the views were picture book stuff - treetops, mountains and a church. Much thought had been put into anticipating guests' needs. The beds were incredibly comfy and the space was pretty well organised. The location was fantastic - not too close to the shops but not too far...kind of tucked away.

Although the shower had fantastic pressure, it flooded the bathroom floor which meant a lot of mopping up and dealing with wet bathmats. I wasn't going to mention this because it's temporary and the hosts have NO control over it but there is extremely noisy construction going on next door. Hopefully it will be over soon. But I think the hosts should have given us fair warning as a courtesy. Not all travellers go out exploring every day... they may be in town for medical treatment or on business and have purposely sought out a quiet place (as advertised). But it says a LOT for the place, that despite the noise we LOVED it. Seriously, I could live there.

Better than expected, very good value for money

Good location. We wanted to be beat the university, cafes and the like and everything was within walking distance, even the mall. Nice touch by the host to leave some sweets and fruit. 3 beds in total, 2 bedrooms makes for great value for money if moving as 2+ people. The beds themselves were comfortable, wifi works, in a complex so felt very safe.

Load shedding. At least our host warned us beforehand that this would be a factor and that electricity only goes for about 2 hours, it is still a bother.

Very enjoyable stay.

Well maintained, clean apartment. Decor lovely and I really enjoyed my stay. Loadshedding stage 6 did make things difficult at times but that was beyond anyone's control. Would definitely stay again.
