The location is perfect. Within walking distance of town, the mountains, the river. Its ideal for sport activities, restaurant hoping, enjoying nature art galleries etc.
I enjoyed my stay. I have however one complaint about the host. She did what she had to do, but did not make us feel good because of one incident.
The inside doors (bedrooms and bathroom) had latch doors. Only the bedrooms had keys but not the bathroom. One of our guest closed the bathroom from the outside, not realising that the latch was on. This caused that the door to the only bathroom could not open.
We alerted the host about it. She came to assess the situation. She immediately said that if they had to get a locksmit then we will have to carry the cost. When one of the quest question why was there not a note, stating that there is no key, she went off on the quest, arguing and came across very rude and abrupt.
A locksmit came and "fix" the lock (put cellotape on the inside of the lock to prevent a similar incident).
The host and the owner eventually decided to pay the locksmit.
As I said, she did what she had to do, but did not made us feel nice. As the saying goes....its not what you do to other people, but how you made them feel.
Just to further note, when we checked out, checking that we did not leave anything behind, we found a key in a corner of the tv cabinet in the lounge, that fitted the bathroom door???
